Dual Giessdorf 6 Jet Shower Heads - Chrome

Once upon a time, Speakman made a double shower head that looked a lot like this one but had a curved bar holding the 2 heads together. It was a terrific product that seems to have sadly disappeared. The heads on this one look and feel very much like the traditional Speakman ones - they are heavy and solidly constructed. And they work just as they should. You can turn off the valve on one if you prefer a single spray, or if you have less water pressure and want to increase it into a single stream. As others have said, be sure to remove the water saver inserts so you'll get maximum pressure.So why don't I love it as much as the old Speakman? The adjustment levers do not provide much variance in the spray. You either have a full spray or a dribbly weak one. It's almost like the adjustment lever is unnecessary and doesn't seem to serve much purpose. Moreover, with the Speakman, turning the adjustment levers also raises and lowers the small jets, cleaning the heads. So would I buy this again? Yes, because I researched and could not find any other double head, and I really like having one head lower that the other to cover and soothe my entire back.

This shower head is a beautiful solid metal work of art. It installs easy and even though I was prepared to use teflon tape I found that it wasn't necessary. The only thing I changed was that I added push/pull 2 way shower arm mount diverters between the double shower head manifold and the shower head. This way I was able to add a hand shower. All of it installed easy with no leaks and no teflon tape required. The flow restrictors were very easy to remove without taking the shower head apart. Do yourself a favor and just buy it. It will be the best shower you ever had. I added some pictures so you can see what I'm talking about.
