Good case, interior straps or only so so.
The case itself is pretty solid. I took off a star because the strap that holds the recorder in place, and the elastic that holds the pouch in place are both really lackluster. If the case got knocked on its side I have no doubt everything would go flying out. It is great for traveling to and from things though, and I trust it to protect equipment that is in a bag or sitting next to me in the car or something like that.

it is a little to big, but it fits
it is a little to big. the zoom h8 can shack I bit, it isn't a perfect fit. but it still works. Maybe half inch to big around the zoom recorder. i still prefer a pelican case.
