These three little girls are happy campers! All three had either a habit of licking their behind or scooting on the carpet. One if them both! I've been using this for over 6 weeks and the licking and scooting stopped after 4 weeks! The powder is awesome cause I mix it with their dinner every day. Just an 1/8 of a teaspoon in each bowl which contains half kibble, half homemade dog food and some bone broth. I highly recommend this stuff!! 🥰

This product has taken my little min pin girl from needing her anal glands expressed every 7-10 days to being free from problems for almost a year now. She was beginning to develop an abscess on one side when I began using the product. Expressing her glands often was a slow and painful process. Once in a great while she gets a little full, and then I use Anal Glandz, a liquid formula, on a warm wash cloth, and give her a warm compress. The compress needs to be held in place for 10-20 minutes. BTW, I give my 10 lb. dog about 1/2 tsp. per day. I think that's about twice the recommended dosage listed on the bottle, for a dog her size. The dose needs to be adjusted depending on the dog's response. Some dogs will need more than others. By using Glandex and Anal Glandz, I've been able to avoid expressing my dog's anal glands for almost a year. Her stools are firm enough now to keep the glands clear. On the rare occasions when she gets stopped up, a warm compress softens things up so she can then express the glands passing stool normally. Or I try increasing the dose slightly for a few days, which ordinarily works. I credit Glandex with transforming my girl to a high maintenance, often miserable pooch (in pain and discomfort a lot of the time), to a happy and carefree normal pooper pooch! It's really a relief to not see her straining, too. This is a dog with multiple food sensitivities, too. The key for us was Glandex, Anal Glandz, warm compresses, and a raw/dehydrated (additive free) diet. Of course, teeth now need more maintenance, but she's used to having them brushed. Getting too many treats (dry treats) for more than a few days will cause her anal glands to become plugged up. So that's another dietary issue some dogs may have .... Overall, it's a huge relief not to have to deal with the cost of having the vet check her often for anal gland issues, expressions, etc. She's not in pain anymore, I don't have the stink and scooting in the house. And we'll probably never have to deal with the potential issues and cost associated with surgical removal of the glands. Everybody's happy! A win-win! This is a great product and I can't recommend it highly enough.

I've used this for many years on multiple dogs and it does help. Not a solution - i.e., dogs eventually need their anals expressed, but I think Glandex helps to delay that.

We have not had to take our dog to the vet for the gland problem since taking. We also mix with pumpkin.

This product was suggested by my vet. It has decreased the amount of times my dogs have needed there glands expressed. Tummy issues have been more under control too.

As far as we can see it worked and we didn't have to take the dog to have he's gland squeeze like before every 2 weeks. It's been 4 weeks and he is fine.

We never knew this about dogs but some need their anal glands expressed by the vet/tech and not just rely on the groomers. Well our vet suggested that Glandex has been found to be useful to lengthen the time in between visits, we decided to try it. There has been no side effects that we can tell and her poop is firm. Note: It did not remove the need to go to the vet/tech entirely but we feel like it's helping.

My little chihuahua was having bad gland issues with no precursors or symptoms until it was too late and he was back at the vet! My vet recommended this product to try since some of his other clients swear by it for their pets. I've been using this for a few months now and he seems to have no recurring glad problem since. Whether that's coincidence or causation... I'm happy with this product! And he devours his food with it sprinkled in!
