OspreyDaylite Cinch Backpack, Black

As soon as I got this I took this bad boy on several hiking trips. It’s the perfect size for a day hike with extra space in there for snacks. Change of cloths, a light jacket, and other essentials. Wears comfortably and that’s coming form a VERY sweaty hiker. The materials are sturdy and I love this closure more than sippers, as some times sippers are the first thing to break on a backpack like this, plus it’s noisy, inefficient, and unreliable. This cinch pack design is great, easy to access, reliable, quite, and so easy to use.11/10 to be honest. Highly recommend.

I love this pack. It's a terrific all-purpose day pack for any weather. It can carry everything I need on a long cold-weather day hike, and it weighs almost nothing when I only want to carry a bit of water and I want to move quickly. And if you add elastic cord to the outside, you can strap much larger things like down jackets and sweaters onto the outside. I love it.

Love this pack. It’s built well, plenty of pockets for smaller items. Twenty two years a Marine. I know quality for the price. I have a small locker at work and it fits easily. Top notch!

Nice color and lightweight. You won’t regret this. Only thing is the pockets are not so many. There is a large pocket on the front which is so deep and kind of hard to reach & find things down below. Otherwise this bag is prefect for commute. Can fit a laptop.

The pack is small but fits my back well. I only carried it with relatively light loads but it was comfortable and didn't make my back sweat thanks to the ventilated mesh panel. The small pocket is very handy for keys, phones, earbuds, etc...but not much else. The "cinch" closure on the main compartment is a little funky. It's easy to close with gloves on (just grab the string and pull). But...you have to grab a tiny tab and pull to open. Not always so simple. I didn't take advantage of the water bladder sleeve or ports on this first use. But....I don't think my 3L camelbak will fit (its in an insulated sleeve). Overall....great build quality as I've always seen from Osprey products.The shoulder straps seem to always want to get twisted up when I put the pack on. Not sure if that's a feature of the material or the way they're made. Just a nit-pick. For the light loads I was carrying I simply tucked the "hip belt" up through some of the loops on the outside of the pack and connected the buckle together to keep it out of the way. I may just remove it completely.

Pattern is random. Colors are pretty. Love it a lot. Ordered 1 for me and 1 for my daughter for a vacation wr plan to hike on. This will be airport friendly as a purse and under our seats. Very light weight but feels sturdy. Can't wait to use it!! Has a space for a hydration bladder but does not come with one.

Now this is the hiking bag you need. I bought one a bit bigger but this is the winner. It fits a TON jacket snacks clothes. Good for hiking small or long
