O livro é muito claro e preciso para os propósitos a que se dispõe (livro de apoio para tornar o estudo da Análise Matemática menos árido). Só há um problema grave: a imagem na página de compra do livro mostra dois livros da autora Lara Alcock (incluindo "How to Study For a Mathematics Degree"), induzindo o consumidor a acreditar que está comprando dois livros, quando na verdade está comprando apenas o livro "How to Think about Analysis".

This is really great if you are just starting with analysis at university level; very clearly written and useful to apply to analysis problems.

I’m in my second year and have noticed a huge shift in my math classes. This book articulated every single one of my feelings about math and it was such as refreshing and motivating experience. It not only introduces key ideas in analysis, but also shows you HOW to approach higher level math. I feel so much more in control in my classes (I also read one of Alcock’s other books, How to Study for a Math Degree). So glad I found this!

This book really fills the gap between the material taught before undergraduate studies and that which one usually finds available when first tackling analysis. A must read for anyone interested in analysis, but finding it difficult where to start. This is definitely a good starting point and guaranteed that you will understand the subject covered in the book. Thanks for writing such an accessible book!

Cercavo un libro con dei contenuti, nel senso che fosse un vero e proprio manuale, magari con considerazioni particolari e illuminanti. In realtà il testo va utilizzato insieme ad un manuale tradizionale di analisi e la cosa non mi è piaciuta affatto.Poche cose interessanti. Per quanto mi riguarda , non è servito a nulla.
