Terrible and the app doesn’t work
I only brought this for the app and the app don’t even work. Such a bad product very overpriced for the cheap plastic you can get a better one for much less

Neat little device
Impressed with this little oximeter - comes with batteries and a fabric lanyard loop so you can keep it handy if needed. Simply pop your finger inside, press the button on the top and in no time the display will show your blood oxygenation level and heart rate. You can press the button again to rotate the display to suit you and it's nice and clear and easy to read.

Displays blood oxygen saturation, works well and has a good display.
This small pulse oximeter was supplied with a set of batteries. Once the batteries are in place the oximeter is placed on a finger. Over the course of a few seconds a pulse indicator (or waveform, depending on mode setting) appears followed a few seconds later by a reading for oxygen saturation. I have used much larger, more expensive, professional pulse oximeters. I am happy that, used correctly, this device will give a good indication of oxygen saturation. The display is clear and the readings are steady and consistent with other similar pulse oximeters. The BLT pulse oximeter is not supplied with a case but does have a lanyard. Unlike some finger oximeters it does not have an alarm but in my view this device is best suited to taking individual readings when an alarm function is redundant. I prefer the fact the device is silent in use rather than making annoying beeping sounds as some do. As time goes by it is likely that pulse oximeters will be as commonly found in homes as thermometers are now. A pulse oximeter is a device for estimating how well oxygenated the blood is. Blood becomes darker in colour as the oxygen saturation falls. A finger pulse oximeter looks for evidence of blood pulsating through the tissue in the finger and if it finds pulsation then looks for evidence of its colour. From these readings it is able to display heart rate and oxygen saturation. Pulse oximeters have been used for years by clinical staff in hospitals and are now being used more by fitness trainers as well. To get useful readings from any pulse oximeter it is important to understand how to correctly use the device, to interpret the readings and to recognise when the readings are inaccurate. It is also important to understand that the useful oxygen saturation range will only be the high end of the scale, say from about 85% upwards. This is a well-made pulse oximeter with an easy to see and configurable screen. It will give helpful information when used under appropriate guidance.

Good, for the most part.
This caused a few problems to begin with. Sometimes it worked perfectly, other times it decided to only display a row of dashes and switch off after 2 or 3 minutes. At one point it looked like I had flatlined. LOL. I was planning on sending it back, but decided to keep testing it and discovered that it works perfectly as long as I don't alter the screen rotation feature. The moment I change it to face the other way it objects. Don't know why that causes it to freak out, is it a faulty microchip? But I like the monitor in so many other ways - nice clear numbers, zigzag heartbeat (which some others don't do) and it uses ordinary batteries instead of those little cell buttons, etc. etc. - so decided to keep it and not confuse it, just give it an easy life and keep it on the one screen angle. It was only £10 and it does the job.
