Great writing and photos. Carthart and Cook are veteran motojournalists and alway very good. They do not disappoint here.

If you like Ducati motorcycles, especially the 999, you will love this book. Even if you don't have a 999, it is very informative when talking about the complete process of building a motorcycle from concept to the delivery line. I heard about it and naturally when I bought an 04 999S I had to buy it. No sooner did I receive it in the mail I cracked it open and couldn't put it down, it was that well done! A marvelous piece and very informative, almost being on the inside feeling the process and birth of the 999 like it was a newborn. Get this book, you won't be disappointed.

Have never seen before till Amazon,very well researched & comprehensive study of the mark.also exc. research into early days & models leading up to the 999.org. $50. but less in the jungle.thanks.

I have one of these bikes so it is great to read about the development story. This takes you into the difficulties faced by Terblanche as he was charged with producing the next generation of Ducati superbike after the successful 916 series.A good read and nice photos including stuff you can't find on the Web such as prototype drawings

great book, great seller

If you are a ducati fan - this is a great book. Of course some of you dont like design changes made to the 999/749 - and that is understandable. But it is an awesome motorcylce and the book is a good look at its design and production.

A real insight into the birth and development of this breathtakingly controversial motorcycle. Pictures are unique and descriptions vivid and thorough. A must-have for those passionate of the Ducati "New-Age" starting with the new millennium.

As a owner of one of these machines I found this book to be fascinating and had great difficulty in putting it down, its cramed full of information on the thinking that went into this model, has superb photography and drawings to explain technicalities.

An absolutely esential book for anyone who loves Ducati 999 motorcycle.Loads of pictures and info.Easy to read (also for non English people).

Un libro molto ben fatto e ricco di foto, non richiede la conoscenza perfetta della lingua inglese (risulta difficoltoso solo in alcuni passaggi), ottima rilegatura: da avere per gli amanti delle moto e del modello in particolare!
