Cashel Quiet Ride Horse Fly Mask

I got 2 of these because I like the weight of the mesh over the eyes.

My horse has an ongoing eye issue and I needed a mask that would block some of the sun from her face. This "fly" mask works great! She wears it all the time and it has held up pretty well. I recently bought a second one so I could wash one, while she is wearing the other. Definitely helps her eye comfort.

These masks are soft and the horses seem more comfortable with them.

My mare had an ulcerated cornea, which required surgery before it would heal. I used the typical fly masks on her & was told it's a double edged sword to wear a fly mask as they can rub & cause more damage. My mare's eyes tend to weep which attracts flies & causes more issues. I started using this Cashel fly mask which is soft & light weight. I have a few of them that I can rotate which has helped keep the flies away. I won't be without this fly mask!

Got one of these last year; my mare wore it from late spring through October. It didn't look great anymore, but it was remarkably durable (people said they are just for riding). She wore it all day every day in the pasture with other horses.This spring I got her a new one and it is coming apart, already. The fleece around one ear is almost completely detached from the mesh, and torn through in one place. She is not rough on things, has no trees to rub on. I've no idea why this is breaking down except maybe I got a poorly made one this time and couldn't tell from looking at it. I am going to try another kind now. Bummer.

Very lightweight, super easy to clean. Love that I can still see my horse's eyes through it.

Great fly mask. Sheer enough so my horse can see. Large enough for her big head. Works great. Think I’m going to buy another one as a back up.

Lightweight, good visibility for my horse, use as daily fly mask, less mess from field than traditional masks used in the past.

This fly mask is light weight and much easier to see through than a traditional fly mask. I bought it for an older horse whose eye sight is no longer the best and it is working well.

Love this for riding in the summer in the woods.
