Ceramic Linerlock Nylon Pouch

I bought this for a friend for taking me hunting a couple of seasons ago. Still has not had to sharpen it. he mainly uses it for skinning but he does a lot of skinning with it. He would always complain about his other knives getting dull after doing a couple of deer. The tip did break off a little but from what I have read about ceramic blades is they are fragile. It has not hurt the performance of the knife. I keep asking him if there are problems with it and he says he loves it. He wanted a knife that stays sharp and this one has definitely stayed sharp. I am thinking about getting another one. I am not sure of the best way to sharpen ceramic blades though. I am sure it will need it in the next couple of seasons.

Few things I liked and few things I dont like about this knife. The knife I got the tip was rounded off. Pictures makes it look like it comes to a point and it doesnt rounded. It completely not a sharp as I expected. Almost like they didnt use a low grit to get the sharp smooth edge. They left the burrs on it. The things I liked about it was the rubberized handle and feel of the knife in my hand. Handle works with smaller hands.

Overall I like the knife but: I live in tropics, and in tropical conditions some plastics start oozing the gluey substance after some time because of the temperature and humidity. The plastic handle of this knife is an example of this and now has an unpleasant feel. The connecting bolts of the handle also developed some rust. The blade is fine for me.
