Golden Mean Rod Post Holder DX Gray (3418)

I have been looking for a well designed product like this for a while now. Extremely well made and versatile item that will be an excellent solution for my lighter surf rod while fishing. Looking at the pictures on Amazon it's hard to see the rubber padding that lines the slot for the reel stem, I feel that it is the small details like this that set this product apart from the other options available elsewhere. I have mine mounted on a 5.11 1.75" web belt and it is an almost perfect match, very light and comfortable. Product is made in Japan where they take their domestic market products very seriously.

This item completely meets my expectation, well made and sturdy.
