Purchased for emergency kit and camping. The LED light is very bright so for use inside dark canvas tents at night or when storms cut out electricity. As with all LED this will hit night vision when using outside, but if using for porch light as in a party it gives wonderfully bright light. Overall a great value for the money spent.

We’ve had these for years, and they’re still going strong. I always take the AA batteries out between camping trips, and they’re ready to go every time. We use them for everything—from lighting up a path to marking laser tag goals! They’re super durable too—no issues even when they get kicked over.I love that you can adjust the brightness just by how much you open them, and the handles are awesome. They clip out so you can easily hang them over rope or cords—super handy when you need overhead light. Definitely one of our favorite camping essentials!

Great little lanters. I used them when the power goes out. I leave one next to my bed. So easy, just pull up the handle and it instantly comes on. Would be great for kids who don't like to go to the bathroom in the dark. They last a long time on batteries. Would be good for campers.

Two nights ago, my home lost power in a storm. Finding that my two Coleman lanterns were not functioning, even after replacing the batteries, I hopped on Amazon and based upon the rave reviews, I ordered eight of these lanterns. They arrived today and after dark, I hung four of them in my living room. It was almost like daylight in my living room. In addition to the brightness, another great feature is the ease in installing 3 AA batteries.

I haven't taken these camping, but they make great work lights. Messing around with computer peripherals and cables underneath a desk? One of these provides much better light than trying to prop a flashlight somewhere, and it's more convenient than putting on a headlamp.

I love them i used them with my youth group.And I bought me a set for home.But the instructions say they came with 4 batteries.I didn't get batteries with mines. I still recommend this product.

These are really well built lanterns for camping use and I choose to use them around my house for power outages and mainly in my outside storage sheds that have no electricity. The size is small so it’s not bulky and takes up too much space.The look is sleek and they have about six different colors. I chose the hot pink color! They come in a four pack for $19.98 before tax which is a great bang for your bucks! They require three double A batteries and you can always choose to use rechargeable batteries. I plan to just check and/or change out regular batteries whenever the daylight savings time change occurs twice a year.It takes about one minute to unbox each one, twist the bottom cap off, insert three double A batteries, twist the bottom cap back on, pull up on the two side handles and you have a very bright LED lantern shedding light on whatever your need is at the moment.
