Marson M39316 Metric Ribbed Rivet Nut Kit W/ M4, M5, M6 Mandrel & Nosepiece (1 PK)

I wanted a rivet nut tool that was higher quality than the typical Amazon rivet nut gun and this tool definitely exceeds that expectation. It is built very well and the molded carrying case is nice for storing and organizing rivet nuts easy. I also like that the case has a drill bit chart so you know what size hole to drill.

I was able to set about 20 M5 rivnuts, but my M5 mandrel knob used to unscrew and release the tool broke on about the third nut. I had to loosen with a wrench which was a nightmare. Edit: Improved to 3 stars as company replaced the Mandrel. I have about 50 riv nuts to go, if this one holds up, maybe my mandrel knob was a fluke - will update after completion.

Easy to use, downside is guessing where to set the stop for varying material thickness without being able to observe the backside of the nutsert placement. I elected to rely on feel while crimping.

Awesome unit, highly recommended and definitely will buy again. The case and tools are high quality. Instructions included. The chart shows the recommended drill bits to use.I was going to purchase just the bits and collets to allow me to utilize SAE nut serts. But the cost of those pieces would exceed the cost of the kit, so I ended up purchasing the SAE version of this Marson metric kit.

Already had this brand but needed metric. No prob here. Work's great. Great quality. Don't hesitate getting this. Thanks Keith

Awesome product. Little hard to crimp but i cut a few pieces of 1" square tube about 15" long and they slipped right over the Handel and worked great

The tool seems well built, the fittings provided are a nice starter set and good quality, pleased with the purchase after using for 1 job (setting 5 nuts, M6 size)

I needed it for one specific job that couldn't be done with any thing else. It worked flawlessly!
