Be the Hero when traveling for Business.Went to Germany for a business meeting/conference and multiple people in our group used this adapter. At one time, three laptops and two phones, were all plugged in. This was probably close to if not over it's rated 200w Max, but it worked fine. It is very quiet, to the point of being almost silent, I never heard the fan unless I put my ear right next to it.The only hiccup I had was in my hotel room if I pushed the plug all the way into the bottom of the socket, it wouldn't work. But I noticed the the green light blinked on. Backing out the plug a couple of millimeters allowed it to have contact and work correctly.This uses a standard Clover-leaf or Mickey Mouse power cord connector ( IEC 60320 - C5), and comes with a European type double round plug, And a bunch of adapters for other country's, If you want to use it in North America, you will probably want to scavenge a power cord from an old laptop power supply, most use this style of plug.For traveling this is actually a little bit of a space saver because you do not need to bring your cellphone wall plug, Especially good for a family traveling together. I used it with my Nexus 5x and would sometimes get the "Charging Rapidly" message and other times I got "Charging on AC" either way it charged quite fast.I expect the next time I travel to Germany, I'll see a few more, I was asked many times where I got it from.

It did not work from the first use while I was in Europe.

2 stars says "I don't like it" and 4 says "I love it". Neither apply. 3 stars is applicable.It does work at home and abroad but the noise it makes, and bear in mind I'm aware that it's supposed to make a noise from the cooling fan, is above and beyond what it should be. I usually can "tap" it with my hand it becomes less noisy. Obviously the fan blades are rubbing against something and I'm expecting it to fail soon. When I'm in the States the wife won't let me use it in our bedroom. I've got a bit of tinnitus (long time drummer and bassist) and the sound, as others have said, becomes like white noise after awhile... but not for her.I should probably return it because for the past two months when plugged in, the on/off switch is ineffective. I guess I'm fortunate that it's broken in the "on" position instead of the "off". At least I can still charge my phones and iPad and then just unplug it when leaving my room for work.I'm looking for another one though and am not interested in this brand for my next purchase.

Reasonably priced unit that performed flawlessly during a two week trip to Spain. The combination of 110 outlets and multiple USB charging ports was super convenient. I particularly appreciated the fast charge port for charging my smartphone. 200 watts was adequate for our travel appliances and my C-PAP. We used a simple plug adapter for my dual-voltage hair dryer.

I purchased this device for a trip I was taking to India. It arrived on time and as advertised. The seller also checked with me to insure I received it on time and if it was working to my satisfaction. I liked that they took the extra step to check on the experience.When I ordered it I was uncertain how well it would work but I have to say it was great. I used it for almost 2 weeks and never had any issues. I was able to charge multiple phones and an iPad all at the same time without any problems. One key thing about this device is that it has the ability to step down voltage from 220 to 110 which is extremely important when traveling internationally. It also comes with 3 additional adapters so it should work just about anywhere in the world. I really like the fact that it has so many charging outlets and USB ports since when I travel with family we only need to worry about one device for everyone. I highly recommend this product and this seller.
