Will this work in my 1981 ford bronco with the straight 6 cylinder 300 cid 4.9 l engine?

I doubt this model number would give you the best performance. This is on a four cylinder tractor motor. Check the Flame Thrower site for the correct model number.

When installing this with the Pertronix ignitor, do you have to bypass the resistance wire? if you don't does it damage the coil?

I have the resistance wire hooked up with mine, if not you might burn out you coil and cause injury to your Pertronix ignitor. If you are building your own system I would put in a resistor or if you don't have a resistor I would add one.

Will this work for everyone ?

It should work for a 6volt system that is a 12volt vehicle that uses a ballast resister to drop the volts with out using the resister

Will this coil work with a 61 Ford Pickup 312 engine?

It will certainly work with the PerTronix ignition installed. If it has the same resistance as the OEM coil, no problem working with the stock system. Check out the .pdf on the PerTronix website for the resistance of the 40611 coil. You may need to remove the existing ballast resistor, or add one., depending upon the spec.

Rubbish packaging from seller

These are good products, but dispatching several items with no packing in a plastic bag is just stupid. The whole lot arrived loose with all separate pieces rattling around in a bag and a big dent in one of the coils.
