DEWALT Drill Bit, Spade, 1 Inch x 16 Inch (DW1595)

One of the best bits I have ever purchased. Slices through sheetrock, plywood, 2x6 boards, etc with ease. I'm installing EMT conduit and have to push through 14 inches of various material and this bit gets the job done! This is the second one I've purchased as the first finally gave away after many holes and encountering various nails along the way. Well worth every penny and much better to use a single long bit than to try and couple together a smaller bit with an extension. If you need a serious bit that will put in work and not let you down this is the one to get. Dewalt for the win.

Did what it’s supposed to do. Very sharp tip which helps you get to where you’re going.

I originally bought Irwin spade bits but they would dull after only one or two holes. Theses Dewalt spade bits are much more durable and I can drill several stumps before they will eventually dull. They are easy to resharpen

Drilling out a few very large oak stumps to facilitate faster decomposition. Went around 12" deep in some very tough wood. Got around 100 holes before switching bits. Bit still works and can be sharpened.Very happy with this Dewalt product.

I got this to drill a hole in my workshop wall to run wires for my wind turbine it did the job with no problems

Bought to drill holes in a tree stump so I could poor stump killer into the holes. Worked great for my purpose.

Better than what is pictured, its black and has an angle on the outer edge. My other spade bits do not have this. Shredded through a pretty much solid wood wall like butter in seconds. I think I was laughing at how easy it was and how much wood was flying out. I was having problems getting through with other bits and spade bits, maybe they were a bit dull.
