Excellent Sound Output, BT, 3mm Cable, Or MicroSD Inputs.
This looked like an interesting and fun little speaker, so I ordered it. I find it to have good sound output, with multiple connectivity options. This is a speaker, so sound output and quality are vitally important - I found that it sounds really great. I was surprised at how good the bass came through. It won't do exceptional high tones, such as is used in classical music, but it is quite good for modern sounds. There are volume controls under the bottom, although I found it more convenient to just change my phone music volume. It puts out plenty of sound, without distortion as far as I can hear. You can do FF / RW from buttons - but they are also on the bottom. The cube has multiple light options. The default one is to play lights according to the volume of the music. I had hoped it would change the pattern based on the pitch (so that a song would always play the same sequences), but that is not the case. The lights can also be turned off (useful for office applications and to save power), or be set to one of several rotating patterns. The pattern is selected by means of the power switch (there are two - one on top and one underneath). The light show makes this an interesting device for a party, although personally I'd turn off the lights so that the battery lasts longer. The device has a 3mm cable input (it comes with a short cable), but that is not conveniently placed - it is on the bottom. That means to connect directly you need to put the cube on it's side, and the music really needs to come out upwards instead.A last capability is that it includes a MicroSD slot. This is not documented in the instructions, but it does work. I found that I had to turn the cube on, then insert the card. It plays the music in the order that it is stored on the card, so you have to write out the card the way you want the music played - there is no control for playing the music, and the controls for FF/RW did not seem to work (but volume controls did work). This would make a nice office background music device in this mode. The device will answer calls, and I was able to hear both directions well - but obviously this is not a primary hands free device! The button for accept / hang up / redial is on the top (same button as power on/off).There are some things that could be improved. They provide a power button on the top, but everything else is on the bottom of the cube. I hope that in a future model they move all controls to the corners of the top of the cube (the MicroSD could stay on the bottom). That way the 3mm input could be actually used, and controls would be easy to change while the cube is playing.Summary: A nice cube with good sound output and a cool light show when you want it. Highly recommended. Please note that I received this free of charge, so I could review it.

Fun both wired and wireless.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The LED Wireless Bluetooth Magic Cube is a fun little device, but it also packs a good sound and has been surprisingly functional. This is the second time I have used a device by the same company, too, and both times I have been happy with the items. With regard to functionality, this is an easy item to use. You have a multi-function button on the front that allows for power/answering/synching/etc, and you have a 3.5mmjack, a +/- set of buttons, and a mode button. Synching is easy to do and use is pretty much intuitive, and there are plenty of modes so you can mix-and-match your outcomes. What is interesting is that I thought this would be a novelty for my daughter to enjoy, but it has been something I have been playing with both with flashing modes or in modeless, depending. The device itself is pretty durable, and the quality of it was surprising as well. I think I was expecting an average item at best, but the design, ease-of-use, and make itself led me to think it will be something we can goof off with for a while. Please note this was supplied for sampling purposes.
