My granddaughters absolutely loved the book! The 3yr old has memorized almost every page! Loved the artwork!

Sweet story, rich language, easy to read, lovely pictures. I'm actually surprised that this isn't considered one if the greats! I plan to buy more to gift to friends kiddos

This book is perfect for bookworm parents to read to their children. In this story, Leo is a knight who doesn't like to fight. He loves to read. When his parents force him to go on a quest to tame a dragon, he uses a very unconventional method to tame the dragon and a few other beasts along the way.The rhyming stanzas in this book are a little clunky at times, but the terrific illustrations and the wonderful story make up for the awkward language. I was cheering for Leo from the first page. This book is a little wordy, so it's probably best for ages 4-6.I loved the messages - both solving problems without fighting and the joy of reading. And the sight of a tiny mouse in armor with a tiny sword and shield were just too cute. Such a fun read![...]
