I've had rings on the back of my phone case for years, and I've always loved them. But this is the first time I've had one with a flat edge so it sits up much more easily. And I loved the included car hook -- there's never a good place to have my phone out in my tiny Ford Fiesta. This makes a great difference when I'm using Google Maps for navigation.

5 days before hitting the month mark, the ring fell off the adhesive base. The adhesive for the base is extremely strong that I can't remove it. The adhesive for the hook wasn't as strong, it fell off within the same day of attaching it to my car (after I cleaned and dried my dash).

Product as expected & package in good shape

Since I saw this product, I knew what material it was talking about when it said to wash it to reuse it. I have dealt with this material before, and my current phone mount for my car has the same material, but at higher quality.The product does work, but it does have some flaws.Pros:-Feels premium-Metal, not plastic-Free movement (360 degrees spin and 180 degree swivel)-Re-usableCons:-Cheap adhesive-Adhesive wasn't centered, was a little off centered, but that doesn't matter much. (Doesn't make it as "premium" anymore)Overview:First off, this is how you clean the product to reuse:Just wash it off with water, but let it dry or dab it with some microfiber cloth or coffee filter. Be sure not to let any particles touch the surface, as it will affect the stickiness of it.Also, if you clean the surface with an alcohol wipe before applying the rip grip/ stand holder, be sure to wipe it dry first, as it may affect how it will stick to the surface.This product works great for me and the reason I got this, instead of other ones that are cheaper is because it looks "fancier" and it is thinner. It doesn't look like a plastic knob on the back of your phone and it isn't as thick. It is very slim and it works for me. Be sure to use it right, or it won't work for you.The only thing I wish they did was have a higher quality adhesive, as I have seen this adhesive on my phone mount, but the phone mount one is much better, thicker, and doesn't seem like it will tear easily. I bought this for my husband to use with his phone in the truck to and from work. He hooks his phone up to the stereo in the car and sometimes uses it for maps. He liked the ring part. It was easy to attach to the phone. His phone is smooth and not textured at all. He used an alcohol swab first to clean it. He did have trouble sticking it to the dash of the truck. The dash is textured and it was hot from the sun. He cleaned the dash with an alcohol swab as well. He stuck the hook to the dash and it slid off after about a minute. So, we used a different adhesive and it worked fine. I can't speak for how long the adhesive that comes with the hook will last or how well it works because we didn't use it. All in all, he seems pretty happy with this universal ring grip/stand. He likes that it keeps his phone in 1 place while he is driving. He didn't care what color I bought.
