It has a liver taste and hence your pooch won't hesitate to brush. Plus the properties are quite good for their dental health. I would recommend to give it a try. Brush 3-4 times a week with small quantity on a soft bristle toothbrush. Recommended.

Started brushing both of my dogs teeth again after not doing it like I should’ve. I notice my older dogs teeth we’re getting bad & his breath was bad. My females teeth were also bad & she’s only 2! Well, after using this product for about 2 weeks I’ve noticed their teeth are looking & smelling so much better! They love the poultry taste & they look forward to it every night. It’s like a treat to them! This a great product!

My dogs LOVE this toothpaste. They brush their own teeth as long as I offer them this toothpaste on a toothbrush. I just hold the toothbrush and they lick it off happily and even chew on the brush (I keep holding it or they would take off with it). It makes a HUGE difference in their breath quite quickly. We ran out and while we were waiting for this tube to arrive, the dogs breath started to reek again within a matter of a few days. I tried another brand, roasted chicken flavour, and they would not touch it. I had to force it in their mouths and brush their teeth for them with other brands. This is the only brand that they willingly will take themselves. Because it is enzymatic, you do not need to worry about scrubbing their teeth very much, you just need to get it in their mouth. When they lick the toothbrush they are brushing their tongues essentially, so it's a win-win for us both. The toothpaste does not stink which is a huge bonus as the brand I used while waiting for this to arrive actually reeked like fake roast chicken (a certain brand that is orange/yellow containing baking soda). In addition to lovely breath, I have noticed that the older dogs problem teeth with a bit of tartar at the gum line is actually dissolving. It's a slow process, but it is definitely working! I brush the problem teeth a little to help remove the tartar, and then let the dogs do the rest of the work. Every night I announce that it's time to brush our teeth and they literally come to me and line up waiting! I can hardly get it out of the tube fast enough and the chihuahua tries to lick it straight from the tube!!! I would pay a substantial amount for this toothpaste as it keeps us from needing extremely expensive dog dentistry and has gotten rid of the horrid "little dog breath" problem we were having in our house. Even the big old dog enjoys it!
