Universal UNV81525 Project Folders

I'm a professional organizer and a productivity coach, so I am always looking for good office products. These are terrific - they hold up well, are glare-free and aren't brittle like some plastic project folders. They're also well-priced (I go through a lot). I use plastic project folders to group like papers within a regular file folder, and these work fine for that, although they may even be thicker/heavier than needed for internal use (and sometimes I prefer colored plastics). Where these absolutely excel is as stand-alone project folders, or for frequent handling. I use them for my client files, labeling the front with the client's name in 3/4" label tape, then keep current client files in a magazine holder on my desk for easy access. Same with current action projects. These transport well if I were to take them to a client's location, and the clear plastic lets me easily view my most recent notes or contact info.

Initially purchased them for travel. But have found them equally useful in organization of important documents and work handouts. Recently discovered that they can be easily punched with a Tul punch. Now I am using them as plastic folders for loose letter paper in my letter size disc Tul notebooks. When the project folders are punched, letter size paper is a little tight but it works for what I need it to do. The folders are clear and durable. For travel I have color coded specific use folders with different color cardstock (inside: front and back page) for quick identification, plus adding a little extra protection to the documents inside. Very impressed with the quality of the product, haven't found anything in a store that matches this product for quality, price and versatility.

UNV81525 are the project folders we LOVE for use in a desktop file sorter - stands upright on its own when empty, doesn't flop over if not supported. Matte finish, polyproplyene. Sealted on two sides. Thumb notch about 2" in from left side, little triangular notch on the right side about 1/2" from the end. UPC bar code 087547815250 25/box. These are our FAVORITE of all the project jackets we've tried. Our clients love these.

Usage: - To keep papers somewhat organized. - To carry around documentation in bags (school bag, messenger bag, etc) Opinions: - The flexibility-rigidity is just what I was looking for. I can bend it to fit beyond tight zippers. Yet it is rigid enough to keep my papers from wrinkling. - The size of the folder is just a little bit larger than letter size. So if you have large projects or packets of papers, there'll be some edges that will not be protected. - It is clear, not frosted. So you can easily see and read what the folder holds. - Great quality & amount for it's price. :) 4 stars because as much as I like it, I have papers stapled that are more than 15 sheets. When the sheets stick out, the edges are unprotected and get bent and wrinkled.

These are great! I bought these to organize my colored cardstock. Previously, I purchased the Pendaflex Ice colored folders Pendaflex Copy Safe Project Pockets, Letter Size, Ice Color, 10 Per Pack (99849) which are great quality, but the ice color made it difficult to see the cardstock colors. The Universal Project folders seem to be the same thickness and rigidity, but they are also clear. These Universal Project folders are slightly smaller (between 1/8 in and 1/4 in.) in both height and width than the Pendaflex folders, but 8.5" x 11" sheets still fit easily in them. I also use this type of folder when I'm travelling, so I can readily read my itinerary through the sleeve. They work great for both of my purposes.

I use these in file folders to isolate important documents I absolutely must keep or may need to access quickly. They are thick poly, completely clear, and the size is right – I've tried some that stuck up too high in a folder and covered part of the folder label. The only others I've found that are the same size and thickness are Staples Poly Project Pockets, but they only come in a 5-pack of assorted colors (one of which is very dark) and are much more expensive.

I use anytime I want to keep some pages together. It might be for a task I'm doing, or a project that later warrants a permanent file of its own.

These are AWESOME I use them in therapy for clients as dry erase boards when filling out CBT worksheets or circling feelingson a feelings chart, completing a behavior map, etc; they wipe clean and I can use over and over. I don’t have the luxury of a laminating machine so these work great!!!
