Came early and the product is better then expected. Was a grate pleasure dealing with them. Well use in the future again.

I like this product because it’s so useful and you always have an available fire source that is easy to transport.

the reason i gave this item 4 stars is that while it is 'paracord with a ferrocerium toggle and ceramic striker' set up in the ubiquitous necklace style that will start a fire with the proper tinder and preperation, its got a sharp and i mean very sharp edge that will easily cut a t-shirt or the flesh it hangs near. not a very well thought out piece of kit AS A NECKLACE. its a great little set of tools, the sharp edge will make quick work of the soft flesh of a small game animal or fish or even thin bark to get at the cambium layer. i pulled the paracord for a fingerknit bracelet and popped the ferro&ceramic into a small fishing kit. the sharp edge here is molecularly sharper than steel, it will cut with very little effort or pressure, though it is a very short edge it is very very sharp.

Not a huge fan of the striker size (a bit small), but it works, and is tied cleverly and well. I like it. Hope that helps.

Works for me. I have found a better alternative way to get same functionality. I've added only the ferro rod and striker to my key chain add ons as they are small and very light. You can make you own by buying separate pieces in bulk.

Always wanted one of these. Started a fire on my first try. Only a few issues:1) this doesn’t look like the attractive knot I was expecting2) the cord is wayyyy too stiff3) they didn’t finish off the ends, so red stuff is poking out of the knotSloppy, but works. Gonna get the pieces and make my own next time. Maybe sooner, if this cordage doesn’t relax a little
