The product you get for the price is just unbeatable. Being able to look at your images from your DSLR or P&S on a big retina screen is second to none. Sometimes people want to see right away how they look in the picture, but are disappointed by the small 2.5" to 3" screens you see on cameras these days. With this card reader, you simply plug in your SD card, wait for it to populate on your iPad, and you are ready to transfer it over to your Camera Roll. This was perfect on a road trip recently that allowed us to take pictures and quickly view them on the iPad during drives or even right after taking the pics.Of course with larger format cards it will take a little longer to load, but trust me, it's loading. The transfers are really fast too. Another bonus if I might say is the ability to plug in a USB keyboard and be able to type in any native or third party iOS application. This is especially beneficial for those who don't want to spend extra money on a bluetooth keyboard or are worried about unnecessary battery drain.I am thinking that this card reader will also be compatible with the WI-FI SD Cards. I'll have to try that later on to see.They also included a small stylus that works pretty well for what it is. It's a little bit too small for my hands, but I think it get's the job done. It also comes with a little plug that allows you to secure it to your headphone jack.All in all, this is a great product. In fact, I bought an extra one for myself, and a few of them for friends.Shipping was VERY fast and Customer Service was excellent in quickly responding to my queries prior to ordering.Just buy one already.

This works about 75% of the time. I guess that's not bad for the price. If it doesn't work, you just have to unplug and re-insert a few times.

This is a nifty device for quickly getting photos from my camera to the IPAD. One thing tho, I wish it had an aux recharge port. It will read photos from my thumb drives only if I back-power the USB with a powered hub. It'd also be nice to be able to recharge the IPAD though this gadget and/or plug in my aux keyboard (it's a wired keyboard, not a bluetooth). But then I guess that's more of a complaint about the IPAD than this handy device.

I own 2 iPads, one is a iPad 3 and the other is a iPad 1. I bought this card reader to use on a cruise vacation that I just got home from today. While on vacation I tried to use this reader on both of my iPads. It would not work on either one. I was very disappointed in the product but not in Amazon's customer service department. They send me a return label I will be returning this product for full credit tomorrow.

Ever since I updated my ipad to ios6 I have no longer been able to load flip videos onto it. I saw that this item was compatible with ios 6 but I did not really believe it. Just to many people with the same problem and little or no real solution after hours and hours of research , I was getting ready to just dump the flip as obsolete when to my amazement I plugged this new connection kit in and it loaded from my flip camera with no problem at all. Not even the usual "this device is not compatible" message" I even love the little device that came with it as an extra. If you have a flip, give this a try. It also works as well with sd cards and any usb device even some that draw power like the flip

I was going on a trip out of State and needed a connector to transfer pictures I was going to be taking with my Olympus camera to my Ipad 2. The connector worked like a charm! I was able to share pictures on my IPad while away from home and that was just what i wanted. Well worth the purchase price!

We find the iPad a bit unwieldy for taking photos, tho it will take a nice picture or video, and so we still like to use our digital camera. This little gizmo is THE best way to quickly copy the camera's photos to your iPad, in the evening after a day of shooting, or at the end of the vacation. Bingo, they transfer "just like that" over the same usb cable you use for charging. Dynamite. Too easy! Buy it. It's small enough that you could easily misplace it, careful.The toy stylus included seems silly at first, we'd rather use the standard pencil-sized stylus; but this one will do in a pinch, it does work, easy to carry, easy to lose

This does not work with the "New Ipad", which is being referred to here as the iPad 3. There is no iPad 3, there is the iPad 2 and the "New iPad"When plugged into the "New iPad" it gives and error message that its not supported. Returning this to the seller.

Sul mio iPad 3 funziona alla perfezione anche con file di grosse dimensioni. Con le penne USB non funziona con tutte: solo quelle che non richiedono alimentazione de tipo Lexar classe4 pagata 9€ ma funziona....

Habe mir das Kit zugelegt, da es immer Probleme mit dem überspielen von Videos von meiner Canon-Camera gab.Die Videos wurden ohne vorherige Umwandlung einfach nicht abgespielt (HD im QuickTime-Format).Habe das Kit an mein IPad gesteckt, SDHC Karte rein und sofort wurden mir alle Bilder und Videos angezeigt.Habe alle ins IPad kopiert und siehe da, alle Videos laufen ohne vorherige Umwandlung einwandfrei.Ich habe das Kit zwar erst 1 Tag, aber bis jetzt funktioniert's so wie beschrieben und für den Preis kann man einfach keinen Fehler machen.Schön wäre das Speichern von Daten,Bildern und Videos vom iPad auf SD oder USB, aber das dies nicht funktioniert, ist ja allgemein bekannt.Ich gebe eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.Nach intensiver Nutzung des Kit's muss ich noch ein paar positive Zusätze machen.Soweit die Fotos bzw. Videos in einem IPad-verträglichen Format vorliegen, wurden alle Dateien vom IPad erkannt.Beispielsweise Aufnahmen auf USB-Stick von einer Kamera (Schlüsselbundkamera oder Kamera der Flug-Drone2.0).Einigste Vorraussetzung ist das vorherige kopieren der aufgenommenen Dateien in ein Verzeichnis "DCIM" und die Umbenennung der Dateinamen in 8-Stellige Namen z.B. Video001 !Habe auch mehrere SD und USBSticks getestet - klappt alles TOP !!!

La connection avec iPad 2 est parfaite. Dommage que la prise USB ne supporte pas de clé USB ! Mais pour transmettre des photos, c'est très bien. Et le petit stylo permet d'éviter d'en acheter un séparément pour le dessin.
