Love this movie!

It was better than i expected. i9 dont usally enjoy hilary duff but i did in this film! its about a girl who's mum makesher travel around a lot as of bad relation ships and its about a 16 year old who is trying to help her mum but makes it worse and ends up hurting herself! its a really good fiml! i recommend you give it a try

Good film to watch

Hilary duff and Heather lockler are great in this Perfect man. Every time single mum Jean (Heather Locklear)breaks up with another guy, the family of three moves. Holly Hamilton (Hilary Duff) is fed up with moving again and again, having to make new friends, missing fun things involving school. So she thinks up a plan for her mums perfect man. She makes up a admirer for her mum, sends her mum flowers, and presents, letters. She's trys to make her mum happy again. She even takes a picture of her friends Uncle Ben, to make it seem more real. Her mum is so taken with this guy. But then she wants to meet him, and thats were Holly has a problem. Its a sweet film, about someone who just doesnt want to face life alone without a man anymore, how a daughter would do almost anything to make her mum happy again.

As you can tell im late to this movie ,2016, i read the reviews and thought ,you know what that sounds ok, and with the price of buying cheeper than streaming ?? er wake up somebody ! I hit the place order button. The film is your usual 90's kids/teen movie with then hot talent ,Hilary D , who's good at being the teen star in this , but the surprising thing is that it's not all about her as you might think . Heather Locklear is wonderful in this and steels a lot of it for me , it sounds from the comments included on the DVD that they cast her because she and Duff look alike , but they actually got something much better , somebody who was so right for that part , she is a total MILF who cant find romance or even a guy for that matter ,yeah right you might think ,but when you see her in her work piny and apron you can see ,she does look normal and venerable too self doubt . I wont bore you with plot details as their as cliché as you can get when it come to rom com, you want a rainy day afternoon feel good film, its here. Fun things to watch out for are 90's Macs ,yeah its the new thing everyone doing 'surf in the ''net'' ' though no mobile phones ,hmm odd , but nice to see how teens used to look before they came attached with a phone taking 95% of their attention . The best BEST thing about the DVD is the extras , something i thought id never type! lots of deleted scenes and outtakes , most of which would have made the movie a lot better had they used them instead of elbowing them , also its nice to watch those scenes without the annoying underscore thats applied liberally all over the film , must have been the latest fad in movies at the time but frankly its totally lame , and tries to ad pep to scenes because thats how Disney do it . Without the score on the deleted scenes it feels a much more realistic film and more like a grown up film , maybe time for a Born Toby Wild edit ? where the original opening sequence is restored and dropping the 'dress' opening which isn't as good , sounds like the directors hand was forced there by the studio , after all he shot it and it sets up the film better.
