Great value and quality for the price. Easy to set up with clear instructions and works perfectly with Samsung DeX. Response time is good, YouTube videos are clear, and resolution is great for the price point. Highly recommend for a budget friendly alternative to the more expensive options out there.

I needed a way to share the screen from my MacBook Pro to a TV that did not have screencasting, and this adapter has worked perfectly for all three presentations I have used it for so far. The adapter can create its own direct Wi-Fi connection, or it can connect to an existing Wi-Fi network so compatible devices on that network can cast to it. In that mode, it works similarly to casting to a Roku or Android TV (minus being able to cast Netflix or Disney). Setup is fairly straightforward once connected. The adapter plugs into an HDMI port and requires USB power. You can use a USB port on the back of the TV, or power it from a USB wall adapter or portable USB battery. My only complaint is the default setup screen. It appears pixelated and low resolution which makes the text harder to read. That screen is important because it displays the connection instructions and the adapter's Wi-Fi password which you'll need before you can screen cast to it. Once connected, the actual presentation display has worked well. I have not had issues with it dropping the connection during my presentations, and latency is not noticeable for presentations in a classroom environment. Overall, this is a useful adapter for adding wireless screen casting to an older television or projector. It has been reliable for presentations, but the setup screen needs a clearer, higher-resolution design.

I bought a laptop (2025) and it did not have a second video port or a thunderbolt usc-c port so I could only extend my screen to one monitor. I love using two monitors and this enabled me to have 2nd monitor screen available by plugging into my 2nd monitor and using windows 11 to connect to wireless display. I do not use for gaming and for my purposes it works as well as plugged in monitor. Very happy. Easy to connect laptop to wireless display as well.

Horrible. This thing has given me such a headache when trying to set up miracast to steam my laptop to my TV. It’s ok at handling iPhones but don’t even think about setting it up with a PC. Returning it the same day I received it. Smh

I'm planning on cancelling my home internet, so I could instead use my phone. It's way cheaper for me. So after trying out various casting devices that didn't work for me, I thought this one would be perfect because they claim you don't need WiFi, and some of the reviews mention that as well. I mean, you need WiFi to set up the dongle, but that's understandable I suppose. Maybe it needs an initial update or something. After I got it working, it worked quite well, although the picture was less than stellar. Setup was fairly straightforward. So if you aren't relying solely on your phone for Internet, and you only need a decent cheap casting device, then this will do the trick. But anyway I decided to really test it out once I had everything hooked up properly. So I turned OFF my router (to see how it would work once I cancel my home internet) and lol and behold, the dongle stopped working. It would still register as being connected to my phone, and my phone could still find the device in my screen casting app, but I could not connect at all. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or I'm missing some information. But it seems to me that this dongle will not work unless it is connected to your WiFi. I'm open to ideas on what I might be doing wrong, but I'm going to return this and try to find some way to mirror my phone screen that actually doesn't use WiFi.

Simple and quick setup. Very efficient. Great for everyday use.

This thing just works. But you should plug the USB part of it into a wall charger. In general, or so I have read, a USB port built into a monitor or TV just doesn't supply the right level of power needed to make this thing work. My monitor does not have a USB port so I had no choice. But if your monitor does have a USB port, go buy a USB wall charger anyway & plug this dongle into that. If you have a spare cell phone wall charger handy, that will generally work fine.

It is good but after a while, it tends to freeze up so I purchased a pointer because the mouse pointer seem to stop working. Other than that, I really like it

Je viens de l’installer et quand je choisis screencast dans les options de recopie de l’écran mon téléphone est déconnecté de mon wifi. C’est décevant moi je souhaite juste recopier mon écran comme sur ma smart TV mais sur une autre TV qui ne l’est pas. Décevant… Peur-être publicité trompeuse! Je dois encore faire des tests mais je ne me fais pas d’illusion!

Répond correctement à mes attentes. Il permet bien la connexion sans fil d'appareil. Testé avec un pc, un android et un iphone. Par contre, pensez à bien regarder ce que vous pouvez diffuser car en effet sur iphone, impossible de diffuser netflix, disney+, amazon prime,... seulement des films depuis un site internet par exemple. Pour android on peut faire un peu plus de choses mais il y a quand même des applis qu'on ne peut pas projeter. Je l'utilise dans ma voiture pour difuser sur des écran dans appuie-tête qui comment à vieillir niveau format de diffusion de fichiers vidéos et lecteur dvd fonctionnant 1 fois sur 2. j'utilise un convertisseur hmdi vers RCA Video et un adaptateur RCA Video vers AV Video et cela fonctionne. Donc très content de ce produit qui répond à mes besoins. Il chauffe un peu sur la durée mais comme beaucoup d'appareils (ex clé amazon Fire TV).

Experienced IT pro, here. I have almost nothing positive to say about this device. It will connect your Windows laptop - at low resolutions and low frame rates - to your monitor. However ... - Landing screen is horribly complicated and contains WRONG instructions - Won't work on modern versions of IOS - Wont work with modern versions of OSX (and wrong instructions) - Will not allow you to lock-out the settings, so totally inappropriate for professional, institutional use. Do not purchase. I say again, DO NOT PURCHASE this steaming pile of cyberpoo.

What an absolutely remarkable device. I use my iphone to write, so being able to cast my phone screen onto my big screen when writing is an absolute must. Connectivity is great, there’s little or no lag, the response is immediate, and the resolution is superb, despite it being “only” 1080p. It’s very easy to set up, even easier to use, and takes up next to no room. Can’t comment a great deal on compatibility, as I’m only using it for an iPhone 17e using iOS 26, but it works well with that. Very, very happy with this device.

Ottima soluzione in sostituzione del prodotto Microsoft. E' il quinto che ordino per le nostre sale riunioni e al momento fa il suo lavoro. Vedremo con il tempo.
