Heatvalley Hard Plastic Guard Bumper Protector Case for Apple Watch iWatch 42mm Dark Blue

Purchased as a gift and managed to look it over well before wrapping and gifting. I tried it on my Apple watch and it seemed to fit pretty well, snapping snuggly onto the watch frame. The depth of color looked good. I purchased it for a friend that has an after market milanese dark blue band and thought they would enjoy having the case to match their band. They loved it, said that it has stayed on their watch (which I've read reviews of folks saying that similar cases fall off after a certain amount of wear) for several weeks and the finish has not scratched up like one might think. I'm pleased that it has held up, considering its not a big investment, more of a vanity item that can be economically changed if it breaks, or discolors over time.

Hard, but thin plastic that just snaps on along the edges of the watch face. I like the color and the bumper protection, but the darn thing just won't stay on my watch. Seems to pop off easily with any bump or snag to the watch. I am an adult with a desk job, so I'm not being rough with this, so if it won't stay on for me, it won't stay on for most. I actually rebought it as I thought maybe I got a loose one, or that I did something to it, and I got a second one for my wife, but within a week, they had fallen off both our watches multiple times. Eventually the puppy found them before we did, and the rest is history.

Husband loved it. Is plastic, thought was metal but still overall very nice and has held up the past couple of months ok.
