Storm (The Empire Chronicles Book 5)

Jared find themselves in a veil, some sort of magical time machine. They end up about a year or so in the past just before Levi and Allie meet. Jared and Vera are in the veil for about 75% of the book. The book starts off with happy romance and then, bam!, you're in a battle on Norso with witches. The romance is sweet between the two throughout the book.Overall, I enjoyed the book. It is obviously a must read if you read the previous ones in the series. I was frustrated at the ending.****Spoilers, all the way to the end!****I think they were in the veil too long. It started to drag a little in the middle with all the roadblocks. When they get out of the veil they are back in reality for a short time before the book ends. I wish there was more interacting between Jared and his mother. Maybe more than a sentence or two would have been nice.Jared had a lot of power that he barely just started using in the book before it ended. I would have liked to see more of it.What happened to Cleo and Anastasia? Will they be back? Why were Taliana (i?) and Gareth there? What happened to his mom at the end of the story? She just up and left without any explanation as to what/why it happened. There were too many questions left unanswered at the end!This book was in dual POVs with good editing.

Jared and Vera weathered a Storm like no other. This book was excellent, as all of ARI's are. I loved the veil, even though it was terrifying, it was a pleasure to go back to the pre-Ali days of Levi and all of the beautiful Pteron's from The Crescent Chronicles. This book was an incredible and most unexpected journey into Jared's true self. I'm so happy he found his mate in Vera. There are a few steamy scenes between them that made me swoon just imagining them together :) I love all of Alyssa Rose Ivy's books, The Chronicle's are my favorite. I love how most of her books are tied into others from different series, indirectly or directly. The Society is a big deal. I'm looking forward to the continued journey of James in The Forged Chronicle's series. I highly advise any fantasy/paranormal romance genre book lover to read all of ARI's books. A guaranteed thrill for all! Thank you Alyssa Rose Ivy for sharing your creative mind with us. I will forever be thankful to have found an author that I admire and anticipate every book that may come~

Well I can honestly say that this is my favourite book so far. I have to say I was not really a lover of Jared at all from the beginning I just think he came across as a complete ass and I was more looking forward to Owen a story but Jared has surprised me in the best possible way and I love every minute of it.I loved how Vera and Jared just got each other and the banter they could have. How she made him a better man and how she gave him strength by just one touch. I also loved how we got to see another side to him one that he didn't like to show... vulnerability but also that he is strong and intelligent and so much better than his father ever was. He will be a good leader on Norco.I hope that there is more to come as I feel there is a story to be told about his brother and Hailey needs her mate 😄

WOW! What an imaginative and intriguing storyline. Author Alyssa Rose Ivy has taken an expected plot and turned it upside down in a most unexpected way. This is only a part of what makes this book so fascinating.The way in which Jared and Vera’s relationship grows is wonderfully satisfying. The knowledge they gain is truly enlightening, and the chance to reconnect with those they love is so moving.Mrs. Ivy takes me on a wonderful journey to find the truth that she hides just below the surface. Throughout the journey, she gives me moments of laughter as she infuses sarcasm and snarky remarks. At the end of the adventure, she brings tears to my eyes as well as happiness to my soul.I wholeheartedly recommend this book and this series. 5 stars

Vera and Jared’s story keeps getting better and better. The twist and turns this story takes had me saying “what just happened?” I love the world Alyssa creates and how all the characters are interconnected. Great book!

Jared and Vera have their hands full in this book. Jared must fly three Briarcliff of the island, to safety. On the way to confront the witches coven, Jared and Vera are thrust into a past reality, with little hope of sealing the evil without some extraordinary help.Lives are on the line when Jared finally finds out who has his mother and what the stake is for humanity if things go wrong. Vera has recognized that she loves Jared, despite the problems they have had.This is a great book and Alyssa Rose Ivy did not disappoint with it. It's a fascinating read and a great next book to the Empire Chronicles. Keep reading, my friends.

4.5 ⭐️!!! I love Alyssa's books and the chronicles are my favorite!!! Cannot wait to see where it all leads and what the end will be.Jared is my favorite Pteron and I haven't had enough of him!! His relationship with Vera is fun, challenging and honest. Loveeee them!!Alyssa, I just hope you give us so more love and perhaps a 6th book on the Empire Chronicles?

This book was simply amazing can describe you roller coaster a feeling you're going through in the middle of his book in the end this book it doesn't stop you going to the last line the these characters after you take you on a full Journey every book in one day you won't be able to put it down not even for a moment simply amazingly perfect

GREAT LOVE ALYSSA ROSE IVY

I believe every book that Ayssa rose ivy has written I have loved! I can't say I haven't loved any of her book this one included. Jarad surprised me in this book as he was always portrayed as such a player I mean that ending! I was truly not expecting that! And to think this all started with Levi and Allie story! It has been truly amazing that in every crescent chronicals series that she has written the characters and worlds all seem to be connected in some way that is so unique. I'm going to keep on enjoying this author's books.

I have now read all the books in the Empire Chronicles Series and I have enjoyed the series immensley. I loved the characters and they way their lives intertwined in each book. I would happily recommend these books to anyone who enjoys books about other realms and other supernatural beings. I would love to see these books to continue as I would love to hear more about the characters.

Alyssa has written another great book in the Chronicles series! I thought the story would carry on where the previous book left off, and it did, but with a huge twist! Loved everything about this book, from revisiting old favourite characters to meeting new ones, the struggles, sarcasm and happy bits!
