The battery size is CR2032, usually it can work 2 years. After the battery run over, you can open the case back to change a new battery, thanks

If the watch fell in hot water and won't turn on is there a way to fix this?

I'm afraid not, but try this, open up the back and set it out to completely dry. Maybe run a gentle fan on it. After you are completely sure its dry, put the cover back on and try it again. The manufacturer says it's "water resistant" but does not recommend submerging. If completely drying it out doesn't work, I would get another. Hope this helps.

What do i do when it's not turning on?

Most likely its a dead battery. It happened to me and once I changed the battery it worked fine again
