Update: I bought this tape a second time in 2026 and it is awful. It is NOT anything like the first tape which I loved and even used around the house to label bins and freezer items. This new tape shreds into strips with every pull. I got two rolls and they are permanently stuck together so I'm trying to use them like that. It is completely useless tape and nothing like what I first bought. Original review: I've tried a few different tapes for watercolor and this is the best I've found on Amazon at the best price. (A distant second place is the expensive lavender tape from Scotch). I go through a roll of tape every few weeks so I was happy to find this at a reasonable price. I put this to the test for about 40 hours before reviewing. This tape anchors the page, is easy to reposition, and removes cleanly as long as I go slowly. It is transparent enough that I can see the edge of the page and line my borders up perfectly, can't do that with the scotch painter tapes. I can paint right over it with no bleed through and it leaves a nice crisp border. Even thick gouache doesn't get through this tape. I've even been able to reuse tape on drawings and pen and ink! It's nice to not have to instantly throw it away. It is low tack that holds well and lasts for a second round. One thing to note: be sure to remove slowly and carefully at a right angle to the page. . It is tape and it is still possible to rip paper with this stuff. This tape is a great find!

This masking tape does exactly what I need it to do. It sticks well enough to stay in place while I’m working, but it’s still easy to remove afterward. I’ve used it for painting and a few small projects around the house, and it tears easily by hand without making a mess. I also like that you get two rolls in the pack. Nothing fancy, just good masking tape that works as expected.

If any parents are reading this, if you have a little one in daycare Ava want something that will last, to label their bottles/sippy cups/lunch boxes etc, a piece of this tape and a sharpie are life savers! You can hand wash them over and over and the tape stays on! The amount you get, for the price and quality of the tape?? I used a single two inch piece on several items and never had to replace the labels I made on both of my girls things! Baby bottles, water and milk cups, my oldest daughter’s bentgo lunch box! It was amazing! This is the best tape ever! And you get so much of it for such a great price! It’s easy to use, durable, and thick rolls that’ll last so long! I purchased this maybe six months ago and haven’t even finished half of a roll! Ofcourse even with how long it will naturally last, it’s definitely more sanitary to replace once in a while! But it’s still incredible, it made it through scrubbing and handwashing, boiling for sanitizing, and the dishwasher! Phenomenal!

The quality and function was as described, we had a little bit of difficulty getting them on our tension shower rod because it was thicker. the color was a little more purple in hue than red-maroon but we kept anyway.

What is there to say? It’s masking tape, it sticks, and comes off with leaving residue or damaging material.

FINALLY! Masking tape worth owning! I was SO sick of struggling with masking tape that wouldn’t pull off the roll evenly and shredded, then wouldn’t stick properly on a surface. I trashed every roll we owned and replaced them with this brand. This is the quality of tape I grew up with. It’s a joy to use, and I highly recommend it.

As promised

Maybe shouldn’t be used for water coloring. I ordered four rolls thinking I would use it to mask off art paper for water coloring. It rips pages even when using heat to remove. The heat makes it too sticky to remove. Wrong product for the task.
