My pool water has always been high in copper. After a few weeks, the bag was very blue, indicating copper bonding. Balance is back in range.

This is it. This is the one. After 2 years of fighting with iron in my pool from our well (installed as a deeper alternative to our original unreliable well in 2020) water, this is the solution. Our water tested as 1.82ppm of iron.I tried using Metal Out and it worked sporadically to clear the water, but doesn't actually remove the iron. It just hides it for it to become a problem again later.The CuLator actually fixed the problem and removed the iron. Last year this wasn't an option because I was using the tiny pump that came with our pool. This year I ran PVC from our large pump for our spa and was able to put this in the pump basket. Within a couple of days, the color was gone. I'll definitely be using this again next year.

I bought this to absorb the extra copper that is in our pool from a copper algacide we had to put in at the beginning of the season. Every time I swim the copper is turning my hair green so Iwas really hoping this would help us get the copper out of the pool. After using it for about 6 weeks the device has turned the color that shows it is absorbing nickel, but not copper. I didn't realize we had a bunch of nickel in the water, but I wish it would absorb the copper that I need out of the pool.
