These work good. Note that they are good quality but not all that heavy duty. Around the home will be just fine but on a commercial job site would be hesitant to use.

These are quite nice, easy to use and look clean. They are however a little bit cheaply made. But overall they work well, and fixed my extension cords which had failing connections. So I am happy with them. Would buy again.

This replacement cord plug/socket set is very easy to set up and the cord straps tighten down nicely for a solid result. I also like to use liquid 'lectric tape on the connections to water proof them as much as possible, but in any case, for replacing a socket or plug on an extension cord, these are great!

I am working on an off-grid power system involving solar panels and a few MPPT solar generators, inverter, etc. I am planning to run two waterproof 15 amp extension cords from a junction box mounted on the outside to the inside of the house (one with the original female plug outside, the other with the original male), and this is going to involve cutting off a male end from one and a female from the other. This two-pack of replacement plugs gives me everything I need to remake the extension cords on the inside of the house. I'll be able to tell at a glance (from the bright yellow color instead of the usual black) that these are merely off-grid extensions and aren't connected in any way to the grid.Doing this is going to give me a lot of flexibility in how I can use the various components of my system to run things like a canner and dehydrator on my patio during the summer or to feed AC from a small solar generator with portable panels into the house instead of using my inside heavy/dedicated Bluetti AC180 or battery bank with inverter. The photo is how I plan to wire the junction box, and this connector replacement set is the last thing I needed to get 'er done.

I do not recommend buying this product. It is garbage. The wires must be cut exactly to length and then twisted and looped in order to fasten them in the block. Each wire took me an hour literally to fasten to its terminal. The last one I cut a fraction of an inch short and after an hour of trying I gave up when my hands went numb. I have simply cut the whole terminal off and ordered the Leviton version of the same thing. I. will throw this out rather than return it in order to save some poor soul from having to go through the misery that I went through.The strange thing is that this company makes the best male plug extension cord end. It is a simply superior product which costs $10 and is worth every penny of it. The wires insert end first into a lucite block which allows you to see if you have the length right and trim accordingly. It is a commercial grade plug made for use in a factory. I assumed, wrongly, that the same design would be adhered to in the product above but that is not the case. This company does not make a female end version of that plug. Very strange and a big hole in their product lineup.

I bought a generator extension cord 10 gauge 10 feet for so cheap. They wanted so much money for a 10 gauge 6 feet regular extension cord so I just created my own and I saved $20.
