Hand turned on the wood lathe in three separate pieces and then fitted and assembled, this ornament is made of spalted sycamore and walnut. The sycamore has been died red. Spalting is an aging process of the wood that results in the black lines. The ornament measures 6" in height and 1 3/4" across at the belly. It is strung with a metallic gold string.
