The M30 Filter Polisher is designed for reliable filtration – polishing of Generator day tanks, sub-base tanks, Belly tanks, and limited volume bulk storage tanks. Filtration/polishing has become an important aspect of emergency power reliability: critical facilities store increasing amounts of fuel on site to assure continuity of operation and this fuel has low turnover in operation. as diesel fuel ages, particulates form which can increase the wear on Generator engine parts fuel storage tanks accumulate water through vapor condensation and this water can encourage bacterial growth newer diesel engines with improved emissions technology require higher purity fuel to prolong engine life. The M30 units are designed for direct integration into Generator control and monitoring systems for CAT, Cummins, mute, fig Wilson and other Generator suppliers. The M30 is packaged open frame for mounting within Generator enclosures or within our Stainless steel enclosure for locations outside buildings. The enclosure is a welded Stainless steel assembly with fuel containment and leak detection. It includes lighting, heat and ventilation as required. The mechanical design is based on duty-cycle pumps and filters and is complete with Strainers, Check valves, ball, valves, pressure Gauges, Relief valves. The unit is mounted on an integral containment with leak detection monitoring. The M30 Filter Polisher includes the new Earthsafe C8 Controller for low cost monitoring and control — with full integration via Modbus to Generator and building control systems. The C8.300 controls fuel oil polishing pumps and filters for Generator fuel supply. programmable Auto start on day of week and time of day programmable cycle time 1-24 hours Selector switch for Auto (weekly cycle) or manual mode (cycle and stop). inputs: Auto or manual mode, pump flow, Filter change, Filter water, leak sensor outputs: pump 1 start signal, and common alarm.
