what is the difference between the ML 8 and the 8i? thanks

It appears that the 8i is a slightly updated version of the 8 which appears to have been discontinued. I found a Refurbished 8i (refurbished by ML) and purchased it for around the same price as the 8, saving around $100.

Does this can be place vertical and horizotal ?

Yes, there are brackets included that allow you to mount them hori or vert.

So, between the motion slm flat lcr, the 6i and the 8i, wich is the best talking just about sound and performance? besides price that seems the same

I can only speak for the motion 8i. It is awesome.

will this work with the rest of my 8 ohm surround speakers since this is 4 ohm ? or will it have less volume ? back of my reciever says 6 to 16 ohm.

If your front channel speaker is 4 ohm and the surround speakers are 8 ohm, then the front channel volume will be slightly higher than the surround speakers. It probably will we so slight a difference that you might not even notice it. If you have a 5 or 7 channel receiver, it might have a calibration mode where it uses test tones to listen to each channel and adjusts the output level of each channel so they are all even. If you have a receiver like that, then you can mix 4 ohm and 8 ohm speakers. The receiver will compensate for the differences. If not, then you can just manually adjust the volume level for the front channel speaker. If I were you I would not worry. Hope this helps. Freddy Jensen
