Got these to link up several water barrels. It is tricky to get the fitting installed unless you have a water barrel whose top completely comes off. I did not, but go check out YouTube where you will find some great tutorials on how to make it work anyways. These did the trick and I am very happy with them.

This product worked well for my rain barrels. The price was great as well. I used this for the overflow.

The 1/2 FNPT does not go all the way through. It instead goes only halfway from the wrong and and tapers. It can still be installed backwards for my purposes but it could be a problem if installing the correct direction is a must.

Found these as the best replacement for my drain plug in my pond prowler boat. The one that came with my boat broke. Installed this and it works perfectly without any leaks. I’m sure it works great for what it was designed for but if you need it for your boat, it’s a perfect fit.

I am making some hydroponic buckets and needed a bulkhead, got these. They work great, drill a 1 inch hole in your bucket, and put these right in. The lip is quite small on them so if it matters to you, you can get all but like a 1/8th of an inch drained which is exactly what I wanted.

I read the reveiws, I don't agree with most of them. I tested them for Fit and finish, and passed with flying colors! All the parts were there, well packaged, PVC threads are accurate inside and out. I realize these are made in the PRC, I find these are pretty well made units.... and people, these are made out of plastic! you don't have to crank tite these fittings. no leaks upon install.....They will break/strip if you over tighten.

It took quite a while to figure out what type of threads are used on this fitting. They are NPS! Not NPT. They don't need to be NPT because of the gaskets, which make this a waterproof seal. These also aren't really meant to be attached to curved surfaces, either. You can probably get away with it on large-diameter tanks, but definitely not on small ones. Ensure that whatever fitting screws onto this one also has a gasket at the end, or it won't be waterproof. Seems sturdy enough for most applications.

I couldn't find these anywhere where I live so I ordered them from Amazon and they work great. They work so well I ordered more. They work good in rain barrels.

El Articulo llegó un día antes de lo previsto, corresponde a la foto del articulo. Material y acabado con buena calidad. Por mi parte yo lo recomiendo.

They are extremely poor quality. When you go to attach the garden hose the threads are too small and the will not tighten. Total waste. I had installed all 6 on my rain barrels and had to take them all off and replace with good quality ones from hardware store. Should get full refund as these are nothing but garbage.
