Caramel Moon (3) (Candy Fairies)

(7 y.o. girl review)I liked this book because I like caramel and it was about a caramel fairy named Melli. She has to save candy corn fields from Mogu.

I started reading this series to my daughter (4yrs old) as part of her bedtime routine. The first few books of the series had her hooked. This book seems to have lost her attention a little. I also feel it is not as great as the others. The fairies have to protect their crop fields so that they have enough for the Caramel Moon festival. Hoping the next book in the series is more like the previous ones than this one.

This book is about a caramel fairy named Melli. She waits in candy cornfields in her favorite carmel tree for her best friend Coca to arrive. Instead Cara arrives. Cara has good news, she tells Melli that their favorite band the Sugar Pops will be playing at tomorrow night's Carmel Moon. Coca comes and Melli tells Coca the good news. As the three fairies fly toward the north side of the fields they all gasp, something is terribly wrong! This book tells how Melli and her fairy friends solve the mystery of the shrinking candy corn crops!I read Cool Mint, another Candy Fairies book. I thought that Cool Mint was as good as this book, Carmel Moon. I liked this book because it was mysterious and exciting. It also had a great happy ending.I would recommend this book, and the other books in the series, to anyone who likes fairies, friends, and CANDY!
