The one I received this time did not and could not adhere to any surface. My previous one worked very well and still does. I suspect this product is a Chinese knock off, they generally work well, and I simply got a bad one. I was too lazy to mail it back. Overall, am happy with the product.Addendum:These work well but the secret is not to leave it on your window full time. With the interior heat of your car during the daytime, the joint from the ball and joint quickly crumbles apart. The secret is to not have it affixed to your window when not in use. The product will then work fine when needed.

I don't usually like to bash sellers on this forum and I usually figure it out privately with the seller if I ever have an issue, but this has been a horrible experience. The product was a cheap knockoff which didn't work from the start it took me a while to contact them first they tried suggesting some ridiculous things and finally agreed to send me a new one. They claimed they would send it out and when I asked for some kind of tracking number they said there was none but that I should be patient. Long story short they kept saying one more week one more week. Then they claimed they'd send out a 3rd one because I didn't get that and I didn't receive that one either. This is a $3 item and they still play these games imagine if it was something they actually lose money on when replacing. Don't bother yourself with dealing with this buyer.

Exactly what I needed. Shockingly, I actually ordered the correct one, based on help provided by a Tom Tom customer service rep, although my signal was dropped several times during the call on my cell phone and in the midst of the research process. So I went ahead and ordered this gadget anyway, hoping I had the correct information and model number, and, voila, the right model arrived in the mail. It snapped on effortlessly and clung to the windshield better than the old one did when it was new. Thank you.

I ordered three of them. One did not work from the beginging. It was hard to turn, and the suction was bad. The other two had similar problems, althogh I ended up using them. I would not recommend this product, and it is too much trouble to return it.

My windshield mount works better than the original. the swirlval on it is awesome. i would recomend it to everyone to purchase.
