Fuzzeez 10012648 Orb Bear

We received our kit today and immediately made our first bear. We followed the clear, well-illustrated instruction booklet, moving along step by step. There are many steps involved and it does take close to an hour to fill the material in as instructed. Then a back part of the encasement is snapped into place with about 26 fold and snap clasps. The project is placed in a pillow case and washed on hot twice, then dried on high.My daughter is 9 and needed help with some of the steps (snaps), but she had fun placing the material and spreading and spraying it as we went.It's one of those crafts where you have to work a little, pay attention and closely follow the instructions and you get a great finished product.It turned out just like they show in the commercial.

My 6 year old and I did this together. It was relatively simple and she enjoyed it. We followed the instructions fairly well. (I do wish the instructions stated, "You'll use the rest of white fuzz for this part..." because I had left over fuzz, unsure if I would need the rest and had to fit it in at the end). It didn't look exactly like the picture, but she was really happy with it. It is a little on the flimsy side, but we reinforced the joints with extra fuzz as instructed and it seems like it will stay together. In fact, our dog got a hold of it and tore up the belly. I was able to follow the same steps, washed it, dried it, and it came out all put together again.

I didn’t want to believe the negative reviews after seeing this on youtube, but it is absolutely horrible. Never held together so it ended up looking like a reject teddy bear. Maybe the other styles are better but this one is pretty bad.

My daughter saw a video of someone reviewing this creation and I decided to go ahead with buying one. My expectations were very low and I was not disappointed. The instructions are imported from IKEA with the same amount of sense that leaves you guessing and backtracking that essentially ruins the whole project. The mold itself is not as durable as one might hope. Overall, the bear came out ugly as ever and there was not enough fuzz to overfill like it warns. I sewed up the limbs and loose fuzz that didn't properly meld. My daughter loves it and me for making it for her.

I wish I read these reviews before ordering this. The directions were easy enough, but the end result is very cheap. My child can not play with it, because it falls apart too easily. An eye and nose fell out in the wash (yes we used the washers and yes it was in a laundry bag) and some of the fuzz in the back did not adhere to the body. Additionally, my child (age 4) grabbed an arm and it loosened up immediately and is now being held together with some tape. Boo for the Fuzzeez Bear.

Very fun to build. My daughter loves making these and they make her feel so accomplished when she is done.

Got as a project for my 5 year old grandson and I to do. Easy to do, thought it would be a bit bigger but it not bad. He loved making this!

I got suckered in to this thing by my 6 year old daughter. First of all, no kid younger than maybe 10 can put this thing together. You need to spray the "fluff" with soapy water, but the bottle isn't included--the sprayer is though, imagine that. This thing is a soapy mess to construct. You have to wash this thing TWICE on hot water,so that's good for the water/gas/electric bill. Oh yeah, then you have to dry it on high heat. Haven't seen the finished product yet as I am still on first round in the washer. Only buy this product if you are a masochist who hates your kids. UPDATE: Removed finished bear from the dryer. It looked cute. Completely fell apart in less than 7 minutes, making my daughter cry. Terrible product.
