Calas Protective Skeleton Housing Case Shell for Gopro Hero 3 3+ Hero 4

Although it is what i wanted, putting it around the GoPro made a cut on the corner of my camera and broke it off ! very annoying..it's not easy to put it around the camera, once it is on it is ok. Plastic..i had a feeling it was of metal of some sort.

I bought this case so I can plug in my external microphone. It is not metal like the more expensive ones but it works and does the job I needed, holds my gopro

Thought it was going to break just getting it around my GoPro. Very Very Cheap Feel. The bottom holes are on point which was nice. The leg attachments for mount are tilted to the right so it can't be used on fixed mounts unless you want a angled shot. All in all I'm not happy. Will prob return cause if I try and bend the tabs straight it will break and I won't be able to return.

The item is advertised to have an enlarged side slot so you can plug in both microHDMI and USB cables, however I received a shell without an enlarged side slot and returned the item immediately. If you are looking to use this housing for live video streaming via HDMI, then this is likely not the case for you unless you get the item exactly as advertised.See photos for item received with slot comparison next to a GoPro.

The idea is there and I need to find another, but this model snapped in half the 2nd time I touched it.

The left side slot covers the microsd card slot and hdmi port.
