DeWalt DCMST561N XR Brushless String Trimmer 18V Bare Unit Yellow

Very happy with this DeWalt string trimmer. It’s lightweight, precise, and powerful enough to handle regular trimming jobs with ease. I really appreciate that it folds for compact storage and works seamlessly with standard DeWalt 18V batteries I already own. Performance is excellent for the price, and it’s a solid choice if you’re already in the DeWalt system. Highly recommended.

Brilliant piece of Kit. I bought it as I have a number of 18v dewalt tools so already had batteries and charger. I've used a petrol strimmer before and found them to be heavy and very noisy, plus there is the issue of storing petrol safely. Decided to try this and have to say I am extremely impressed, it's as good as any petrol one I've used but MUCH quieter and considerably lighter but without any build quality being sacrificed. I used it for a bed of nettles that was 4t tall 5ft wide and 40ft long, put a 5ah battery in and didn't really expect it to complete the job without a re-charge, However I was extremely surprised, it obliterated the bed of nettles in 25 minutes and there was still 30% plus charge left in the battery! The ability to fold the unit for storage is a godsend as it stows away almost anywhere as opposed to a petrol unit that is in one piece and awkward to store. Highly recommended piece of kit! I do recommend anyone buying one to buy a strap as it doesn't come with one and it certainly makes using it less of a strain on the arms!

Had a Katcher strimmer before, strimmer was good. But their battery system was terribly. DEWALT, you can't go wrong its very powerful works well on the slow speed. This strimmer comes with quick re stringing, just cut a length of strimmer cord, line the holes up push line through to the middle of the line and ratchet it in job done. Very compact when folded.

The seller is getting a five star review because it would have been delivered a day early, But DHL did not send any messages or emails or any card saying that a delivery was attempted. I had to phone DHL and was told it was out for delivery that day, they even gave me a window for this delivery. I lost half a days work on that occasion, I then contacted Amazon who couldn't have been more helpful. On the Monday I received a message and an email from DHL with a delivery window of an hour 11 to 12, I waited until 1.30, then left a note on the door asking to deliver it to my neighbour. 5 hours later it was delivered and the driver was grumpy and ill natured. I have since contacted the seller who I have no issues with, they have now requested a meeting with DHL because this is a ongoing issue. DHL delivery service on this occasion is just appalling. But the seller is first class and so was Amazon. As for the product very good quality, light powerful and good battery life.

Solid and pretty powerful tool. Has taken on everything I've had for it. I do find the balance is a bit off for me, but otherwise a top item and being able too fold it makes storage and transporting it easy

This is an excellent trimmer. One battery ( not the 1.5 but the 5) goes a long way. The trimmer is easy to maintain, the string seems to last a long time and it is relatively easy to replace it . All in all I love this trimmer and would definitely recommend it to a friend.

An absolute beast, when strimming, destroys plant pots with ease :) Easy assembly, fitted a DeWalt 6a battery and gave it a go. The supplied fitted cord is mega tough. As good as a petrol strimmer, same style.
