I have tried this top coat with two different tried-and-true long-lasting nail polishes.The first time, I did my nails before noon, and I STILL got imprints in my polish from my sheets/blankets while sleeping at 9pm (at the earliest). It took a VERY long time to feel dry to a light touch (compared to Seche Vite, which dries in minutes). The polish only lasted 5 days before it was chipping and peeling, and I removed it.The second time, I did my nails around 3pm, and at 7:30pm, I still got smudges from my towel after my shower. This top coat also causes severe bubbles on my nails. This time the polish lasted an entire week before chipping, which it could have lasted a couple more days, but I was pretty rough with my nails the last day.I appreciate this cruelty-free, all-free top coat option, and I absolutely LOVE their color polish and base coat, but I wouldn't repurchase this top coat due to the bubbling and the long dry time.

This is my first attempt at using a bio-sourced or plant-based polish. I have a terrible habit of picking at my nail polish until it peels off of my nails and gives them a terrible time. I know this is a me problem. I had hoped that using a more natural polish, especially since I have to reapply regularly, might reduce the number of chemicals I'm dealing with. This polish claims to accomplish that. But I must say that it's still quite smelly, which surprised me. But of course, lots of things in nature are like that. I would definitely buy it again. It's just not what I expected. I might try a few other brands as well.

Under base before applying nail polish. Worked great!!

I bought the base coat to compliment a nail polish that I also bought from this brand. I was initially concerned by the term “sheer pink” in its name because I was afraid that it might affect the nail polish color I was going to use – mellow yellow. Fortunately, it looked clear on my nails. In fact, it looked very shiny on my nails. I think that the base coat actually looked quite pretty on its own. After applying the base coat, I waited 15 minutes before I apply the nail polish mellow yellow.Although I am not sure how long it typically takes to dry, the base coat was dry by the end of 15 minutes. (I typically wait 15 minutes between each polish to give each layer time to dry. If you try to paint one layer after another, without giving it time to dry, it is going to mess up.)Yes, I know nail polish uv lamp exist. However, using them over time increases your risk of skin cancer. If your family has a history of skin cancer, avoid using uv lamp because you may actually develop skin cancer earlier than if you didn’t use one. If you are a frequent user of nail polish uv lamp and if a black line suddenly appears on your nail one day, it could be an indicator of melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer. However, melanoma is usually treatable if it is caught early. Once it spreads deeper into the skin, it becomes increasingly difficult to treat and even fatal. So, try to avoid using uv lamp. Even though air-drying takes longer, it is a lot safer than exposing yourself to uv and possibly developing skin cancer.

I've developed an intolerance of most nail polish. This is the "cleanest" I've found for a base/top coat.

I had some issues with chipping paint. I purchased the entire collection and paint on my fingernails chip way quicker than feet.
