Sure Sight® 4.3" LCD Portable Low Vision 2X-32X Zoom Reading Aid Electronic Digital Video Magnifier 12 Color Modes

Received product in good condition. Charged the batteries and everything works as advertised. I have looked at and had hands-on inspection of similar products priced much more than this product. I could not detect any significant difference in the products except for the screen size which was 5 inches on one of the other products. The difference between a 4.3 and 5.0 inch screen is essentially insignificant. Had a little problem understanding some of the instructions and contacted the seller who informed that they were working on clearer instructions and they would email that information to me when completed. My wife has macular degeneration and she was very excited to get this product to assist in reading magazines, recipes and receipts. Obviously, we have no idea how long the product will last but that can be said with any product. Overall very happy with the product and the customer service provided by the seller.

My wife has macular degeneration and has found this device much better than a magnification/camera app she was using on her iphone. The Sure Sight does not have to refocus each time you move it across the page. It can be used to read the words on an ipad but best results were obtained holding the device an inch or so above the ipad screen. The stand can serve this purpose. As noted in another review the User's Guide a bit confusing. However, the seller just emailed us a clearly written User's Guide. The many different levels of magnification is a nice feature too.

This is a great device, but for someone with very severely deteriorated eyesight from age-related macular degeneration, it is not ideal for reading newspapers or books because of its size. For someone who's less impaired, it would probably be just fine, but my husband found that he needed a larger screen with extreme magnification.

Seems to work fine. Where do I get support or ask questions?

While the quality of the unit was great and it came with all the thinkgs you would need, unfortunately, it did not work the way I needed it to work. I need a handheld magnifier. While this is seems to be okay for people who use it just to read newspapers or something that is flat, I need something that I can take to the supermarket to read prices on the shelves as well as labels and price tags. This would not work for me.

This is an awesome device. Works fantastic. The magnification options are greatHighly recommend. Only have about 70 percent of my sight and this allows me to read again.

Difficult to use unless one is sitting at a table. Virtually impossible to use while reading in a chair.
