Since one of the reviewers compared this set to several other ratchet tie downs I thought I would also chime in. Yes, this set is a lot stronger feeling than many of the straps for sale on Amazon. I have two other Amazon ratchet sets, can’t remember which ones, and they are acceptable for the light duty stuff. A mattress on top of your car would be fine.But I would stick with the thicker ones like this set if you have any vision of needing a stronger ratchet strap for bigger loads. These are rated to 4400lbs and while that might seem like a lot you’d be surprised what the force of wind can do to a load. A load might weigh only 500lbs but once you start driving faster the wind will magnify the weight of the load several times over.You can buy a set of soft loops separately for 10 bucks on Amz but it’s nice that they included them with this set. Same material as the main straps and seem plenty strong enough. My other two ratchet sets have rubber coated hooks but those really aren’t worth much if you’re strapping to something chrome or painted, they will scratch right through with ease. So bottom line get some soft loops regardless of what ratchets you buy.

These tie down straps were larger and thicker than the ones I first got from Walmart. I used the straps to help move furniture over the weekend. The straps were especially useful when I borrowed my neighbor's truck to move a couch I bought off craigslist; the couch didn't slip in transit at all! The thick handle was much easier to use than some of the lighter duty straps I've used in the past. I also didn't initially think that I would use the soft loops, but they ended up being a nice added feature to help secure the couch without risking tearing the fabric. All in all, it's been a long weekend moving and these straps were super helpful. They also arrived really fast with the Prime shipping.

A friend of mine took these same straps on a camping trip for tying down gear. After seeing how secure they kept everything I got a set for myself. I have used them several times since then and they work great. I used both of them together on a load of wood/logs that was probably well over 2000 lbs. I had no problems at highway speeds and the load never shifted. I can see the soft loops being useful for strapping down something more delicate and the carry bag is obviously nice to not have straps flying around in the back of my pickup truck.

My brother bought these straps to help with our recent move. I was really nervous about transporting some of the more expensive furniture without professional movers but these straps kept a large dining room table firmly in the back of our truck. Would definitely recommend the thicker webbing when moving your valuable/important items, it also makes using the ratchets easier as things don't get twisted all the time.

I didn't know a thing about ratchet tie down straps, but these did the job. I didn't want to risk damaging thousands of dollars of my stuff, so I wanted to spend the extra $10 to get something good, and based on the few positive reviews, this fit the bill. I didn't weigh my stuff, but it was probably 2-3K lbs and moved a solid 1200 miles with seemingly no problems. I would buy these again if I ever needed another pair, but I probably won't need to.

I'm moving into a new house at the end of the month and purchased these straps to help secure some of my larger furniture. I picked the Krewe straps because they appeared to be more heavy duty than others in their price category. They arrived on time and the ratchets and straps were as expected. I did not realize this product came with a carry bag but it was a great bonus to keep everything organized.

I bought these with little expectation, but they have held up very nicely. I've used them for a couple of lumber trips during a remodeling project and they work great. No wear and tear so far.

Awesome! super heavy duty, much better than the tie downs I had bought previously. Good quality and tighten comfortably (unlike others I've used, which don't have as good of a grip).Would definitely recommend, great price too
