Rhode Island Novelty 7" (175MM) Rainbow Jumbo Coil Spring

My son saw one of these on YouTube and had to have one of his own. I found this price to be lower than expected, and along with that thought it would be flimsy or dull. I quickly saw upon opening the box that it's bright and vibrant, with consistent coloring, the material is sufficiently thick to allow actual spring action as well as not break, and seeing it all stretched out across the living room was great not only for my son but for the whole family. I may get another just to see two together!

The media could not be loaded. Little slinkys are fun, but let's face it, kids are rough on toys, if you're lucky the original small ones last a week before they're mangled, this extra large, thick durable plastic, can be really played with, even by smaller children. Who doesn't like a slinky? This one is just a better version.

I didn't think that this was going to be such a big hit at my daughter's birthday party! The kids LOVED IT! It's HUGE and colorful! A ton of fun for the kids to play with! They were stretching it out across the living room and letting it go so it sprung back into shape. This thing can take a beating! It's way bigger than we thought, so it's kinda impossible to do the whole springing it back and forth in each hand, but that' fine, it's being used in a bunch of different ways. I think it would make a great display in the class room to show waves moving through a medium. That would be a kewl use for it! Or a hat.. that's kewl too.. just don't get your hair stuck in between the springs, that sucks..

I bought 3, one for each of my kiddos, for Christmas. They loved them. My middle did manage to tangle the slinky after a week, but a normal size slinky last about 10 minutes with him. 😂 so I actually cut off the part he tangled and now his is just shorter. But the other 2 have been fine for over 2 weeks now. When you get the slinky it is all stuck together. So I just pealed one side and ran my fingers all the through. They are pretty thick and seem very durable.

This slinky is really big! As big as a salad plate! As tall as a 16 oz. water bottle! I wasn't prepared for such a huge slinky, and I got two of them, one for each of my twin boys. They are a gift for the twins from the newborn baby that is about to come out. I think the baby could fit inside the slinky! Really huge. Nothing that you can easily carry out of the house with you. The two of them together will be bigger than my small bag to bring to the hospital! When you put it on your head, it is tall and big like the hat of the mad hatter, or the cat in the hat! I don't think they will ever break or get tangled with itself, as they are so thick, and I bet they will like them a lot. If not, I can give them away to many other kids who would surely love them. They are just a little heavy for a young toddler to carry around. They are so big that I can't get one hand around the bottom of one, to hold it, and slinky over to the other hand. It's a huge arm workout for me to transfer it, slinky style, from one hand to the other. It's cool and fun and amazing, but tricky. They are twice as tall as a small pan for cooking/heating up a can of soup, and just as big around. But still pretty neat! It would be a cool circus clown toy!

Grandson had several slinkies and wanted more. This was a huge hit. It's the "biggest in the world". So neat because it works - it actually skips steps because it is so large. And, if you go to the top of the stairs (20 plus up because of huge entry way) you can hold one end and the other touches the floor below. The kids love it!!

All of these jumbo springs have been great. This is our third one, not because they break but because they don't. The price is great and they are so strong. This is the only slinky toy that has not been destroyed by my kids. A great find and all the kids love them. They drop them down the stairs and they sometimes get twisted up, but they have yet to bend or break. I can untwist it quickly and it is not misshapen at all. Perfect kids toy.

Bought two of these Slinkys for my kids after the small ones did keep them going longer than a day or two. These are very big and fun loving. The kids put it on the top of the steps and they love watching it roll off.I also love it for pictures! Its big enough and adds the perfect coloring!If you are looking for a slinky that wont break down the first day get this. Its the Perfect slinky!
