strong and tie-able
After 7 years with dogs, this is the product I only buy anymore. It's thick enough not to rip. It's tall enough for my hands. Ditto for the longer than average handles with plenty of length to tie the bag up AND tie the full bag to my hip bag. I have small dogs but a friend visited with her 120 lb Pyrenees dog. WOW. He plopped half a gallon of goo on my lawn and my friend begged me for the Amazon link for this product. USA! Good product.

Good value
They work for poops. Dispense easily. Strong and easy to tie.

easy to open
these bags get the job done, i especially like how easily they open, nothing is worse than fumbling with a bag out in public, handles are nice and make for easy closing/tying.

Have purchased again and will continue buying!
I like the black color so you can't see into the bag. We've not had any issues with holes or fingers poking through. The handles are useful for carrying and easy tying. The long length is great! Sometimes my dog will go in tall grass or bushes where that length comes in handy to keep my or my husband's hands clean. My husband who has large hands (men's size XL gloves) has no problem with the size usually. The times my dog's poo's odor is very strong, I'm able to slightly smell it when my husband is carrying it and walking in front of me. When it's not so stinky, no scent issue. The product does the job adequately and for a good price. I've bought this 3 times so far and plan on continuing purchasing as needed. We have used Bags on Board Extra Thick Hand Armor Dog Waste Bags, 7x15 in, 100 bags before and really like the thickness and design, but it seemed kinda like a waste of money for picking up poop to then throw away. This is not as thick as Bags on Board but thick enough where we feel we're not wasting money but still are getting the benefits. (Have some Bags on Board left so took some photos for comparison.)(My dog is a 2.5 year old, 66 pound male, Belgian Malinois, raw fed diet.)Every time arrives as described. While the photo shows a facial tissue like box with an oval opening to pull bags out, mine arrived differently each time. I actually like how it has arrived better than the photo. First shipment, they used 1 bag to hold 99 of the other bags that were folded for a total of 4 total "packages" within the box. Another time 100 bags were folded inside a sealed packaging envelope for a total of 4 envelopes of bags. Both times all 4 "packages" were sealed inside a small cardboard box. I've yet to open the 3rd purchase (also small cardboard box). Having the group of bags folded is easier to remove them as needed while keeping them flat for easier folding (I fold each one and stack several inside my pouch).Note: January 2018, have opened up the 3rd purchase and it is as pictured (tissue box style). Added photos.7/18/18 - Weird...I edited this review earlier and have yet to see it updated. Summary of what I wrote, plus further update:I've opened the 3rd purchase and noticed a difference in width. Didn't have a ruler handy but took photos of the newer vs. older bags (last 2 photos). It actually appears to be the current advertised width (5.76") whereas the older bag was wider. I've given the newer bags to my husband without letting him know they've changed. It's been....2 weeks maybe? He's not said anything or complained. Sometimes he'd wished the older bags were larger, so I figured he'd say these feel even smaller. Our dog sometimes has very messy poo or leaves a trail of poo as he waddles forward a good distance. A bigger bag helps with the multiple pick-ups without getting hands messy. To be fully honest, hubby likes the Bags on Board best with his large hand, but I feel better purchasing these at the lower price. I'll eventually mention to him the change in size and get his opinion.3/11/19 - I've continued purchasing these bags. When I finally mentioned it to my husband several weeks after the new size, he told me he did actually notice a difference but thought he was just crazy since he thought it was the same bags. He decided to continue using these for the lower price.

Best bags out there.
Kind of a strange thing to be passionate about but these bags are by far the best at what they're made for, I get upset when I run out and have to use any other bag. They're not as thick as the mutt mitt type bags but thicker than the regular ones that come on rolls and I've never had one tear or have a stick poke through one or anything after going through over 1200 of them. They're big enough that I can use two hands to pick up the business (my one hand technique isn't great), don't struggle to turn them inside out without getting anything on my hands like I do with any other bag, and the handles make for really easy tying, altogether makes the deed twice as quick and much easier. I don't care that they just come in a box and not on a roll, easy enough to pull a couple out and pocket them before leaving the house. Also great for other uses like a small trash bag in the car.

Not exactly as described
The negative:1) They are actually apple scented. It's a subtle scent so it's not really obnoxious but they were described as being unscented.2) The bag itself is 10 inches by 5.76 inches which I would NOT consider large.3) Even measuring to the end of the handle the size is more like 14.5 inches, not 15. I know that sounds petty but this means that they either measured wrong or they are misrepresenting their bags. The positive:1) They are sturdy.2) The handles are good sized so it's easy to tie them together.Would I buy them again? YES. I changed my mind because I do like the handles and I just end up using 2 or 3 bags every day for my two cats. 2 or 3 bags isn't great, but the box is convenient and I haven't found anything I like better.

Handles are important!
I've been buying these bags for years and I find them a good value and perfectly suited for the intended use. The most important thing to me is having handles. After I pick up the stuff, I can tie the bag closed and even tie the bag to the leash handle if I want. Without handles, you can't do that. Getting them 400 at a time means you won't have to order very often and you get a good price that way. The only complaint I'd have is the box they come in. It's flimsy with a perforated opening to pull the bags out one at a time, but since Amazon didn't put it in another box (they just put a mailing label right on top of the perforated opening) the box was damaged in shipping. It didn't affect the bags themselves but still... The price is right too. Right now they are $17. That's the same price I paid in 2021. In 2020 and 2019 and 2018 and 2017 I paid $16. Compared to everything else, that's not much of an increase.
