100% satisfied (3 months of near-daily use and counting...)
I bought this for my teenager so she could watch Netflix/Hulu in her room and not monopolize our one family TV. She connects to her Macbook (had to buy the proper cable), and it's just "plug and play". Images are sharp, color is excellent, keystone correct works great, sound is good -- can also sync to Bluetooth speaker, if desired. The unit does produce a low 'hum' that is noticeable when the audio-content is itself low, but we don't find it intrusive most of the time. I had initially hesitated to buy this since it seemed to be a newish model and there were so few reviews. But the reviews were very good, and seemed genuine, not based on free samples (ALWAYS check Amazon reviews on fakespot.com). I paid $89 in 9/16, and couldn't be happier.Note: Keystone is vertical correction (the "pitch" of an airplane); horizontal correction is accomplished by swiveling the projector on whatever surface it's sitting on (the "yaw" of an airplane); and, of course, make sure the surface itself is level left/right (the "roll" of an airplane).

had doubts but i am glad i bought it
I have had this projector for around a week and I am loving it. I have seen three different movie in different sizes and they all looked great. I have been projecting it on a white wall but hoping to get a screen soon and I could imagine how much better it will look. The speaker that comes built in it is great if you are in a medium size room with minimal noise. We watched two movies with out a extra speaker connected and it was fine. One thing that I did not like was that the power cord is not very long around 3-4 feet. When I tried to connect it to a power outlet that was a distance a way I noticed that the projector powered on and off multiple times. But this problem is solved with a basic extention cord. I guess the power cord is kinda sensitive when its fully extended. I was also surprised at how quite this projector is. In my opinion you get a lot of bang for your buck with this projector.

Poor quality
It doesn't stay on. When plugged in lights are blinking, but won't power on.

Great for the price.
Delivery was super fast! I ordered this model because it had the highest lumens for the price. I wanted an outdoor movie theater and it's perfect. I plugged in my iPad and streamed movies. It has an HDMI outlet so you need an adapter plug for your iPad to go to HDMI which I already had. I also plugged in a portable stereo speaker set to my iPad that's ok, but it's a cheap one and Coukd have been louder. I will eventually get a better one. I ordered a screen but it didn't come yet so this picture is on a white tarp which was fine.

can i please get help with the settings.
I just took it out of the box and plugged it in. The screen picture is upside down and inside out. So I can't read the settings and other stuff in order to fix it. I think the instructions don't tell me much and I can't find any company information or help online. HeLP please.

Cool Little Projector - Picture Quality Sub Par - NOT 1080P
I was very close to keeping this projector but the image quality was just bad enough for me to force myself to send it back. I had to see what a sub-$100 projector was capable of and although I was fairly impressed I still wasn't able to convince myself to keep this thing.Pros:It's under $100The screen size can get to over 100 inchesIt wasn't TOO loud (it had slight noticeable low hum)Surprisingly bright for what I was expecting (after messing with brightness settings) ((still needs to be used in dark room or forget about it))Cons:The picture quality is very poor (think SD quality on a tube TV but a little worse)You need to have a near-perfect (fractions of an inch) keystone and position setup to not have terribly blurry edgesI would suggest this to someone who:Has a dark room (if it's a room with windows they will need to be covered by a heavy curtain or you can't watch during the day)Is able to have the projector be exactly in the middle of room and can have it stay there without moving it (does not keystone left or right and barely keystones up and down without getting blurry edges)Is willing to adjust picture settings for the better part of an hour to get the projector to look decent (has a very cool tone out of the box)Is OK with a less than average display (again, think tube TV quality)Is not reading text from the screen (anything smaller than TV/movie subtitles is basically unreadable)After trying out this projector I will definitely be checking out others in the $300 price range. I have a feeling that I will probably not be pleased with those either. I'm assuming the $500 projectors will have the quality I am looking for.

The sound quality isn't the best on it
It works very well! The sound quality isn't the best on it, but I just hook up an external speaker to it. Great quality, easy set up, and easy to use.

this worked out great! its not bright enough to really use in ...
Bought this to be a tester before I bought a really expensive high quality projector...for being relatively cheap and for being so small, this worked out great! its not bright enough to really use in the daytime, but watching movies on this was nice! This would be perfect for kids. A lot of the shows I watch and many of the games I play have a lot of black which isn't so well defined in this projector but if you don't care about all that, I would say this is perfect for kids maybe even teens! Also the sound output is pretty bad but connect some speakers with an AUX cable and youll be fine!
