PRIMAL STRIPS JERKY MTLESS SEITAN TERIYAKI 1OZ

I enjoyed this plant based jerky option.

I strongly dislike the taste of this. I've had better Vegan jerky. The texture is rubbery and the flavor is horrid.

I took one bite, had about 3 chews and my head dropped into one of my hands. I knew I was in trouble. This is absolutely delicious! I've been a (sometimes reluctant) vegetarian for years so tasting that familiar jerky flavor that I've missed so much was amazing. I need more. Lots more. Proceed with caution!!

I suppose some expectation setting might help people better understand this product before reviewing it. If you focus on the ingredients, packaging, form factor, your need for, the purpose of, the price point and competition for this food product it actually does quite well IMO. Personally, this product has greatly helped me balance my vegan diet in trickier, usually work related eating situations. The teriyaki and the hot and spicy are my two favorites. They are very different from one another as the hot and spicy is shitake mushroom based. I keep boxes of these in the pantry and make certain to bring them on road trips. I'm writing this review with the hope that I can contribute positively to the average review rating because I'd be sad to see this product fail.

If you're a vegan like me who would like to bite into something meaty every once in a while without actually eating meat, these are amazing. They come in different flavors and I've tried them all. Really tasty and definitely helps with meat cravings.

I have two vegan jerkies I order that I love (Pleather and Sams) but was feeling up for trying a new brand. This one is wet and felt slimey in my mouth. The flavor was ok, it's the texture I couldn't get over.

Good to have in my bag for a quick snack.

The taste was bearable, but nothing enjoyable. I will most likely not buy this product again. Kudos for trying to make a jerky alternative for vegetarians
