Optimara Violet Food

This is very easy to use and is very effective. My Violets are constantly blooming.

I've used this plant food ever since I got my violets a couple of years ago. I use this water plant-food water solution every time I add water. My plants are beautiful and health. I have them at work and everyone who sees them commits to how beautiful & healthy they are. I highly recommend this plant food!

Sounds like there are a few different formats, judging from the reviews. The box I got had six little packets that each make up a gallon of fertilizer. My violets are in self-watering Oyama planters in an east window and I had been using Jack's without much noticeable difference. Most of my violets tend to produce a burst of blooms in the spring that then peter out. One strain was getting only water because it kept getting burned and hadn't bloomed in a year. About 2-3 weeks after switching to Optimara (late summer/fall here, north of the wall) the plants are LOADED with buds and blooms. Even the tricky one has nice healthy leaves and a ton of flowers. I dissolve one packet in a gallon water jug and keep it at room temperature, it's very convenient. Might be expensive if you have a lot of plants.

Seemed like each of the packets were a different mix. Sometimes powder, sometimes beady and sandy, sometimes blue like miracle grow. My plants have done fine but I can't afford this mix. I will try others that aren't premeasured In individual packs that I can't see consistency of product.

This is good, just pricey
