Car Seat Travel Gate Check Bag Padded Backpack Straps And Base Protection

I don't normally write reviews but the founder of this product changed my mind. It's a pleasure to work with someone who has customer service at the front of their business. I did a little bit of research (spent an evening looking through tons and reading all sorts of reviews) to find a car seat bag for our infant carrier and base to take on the airplane. I chose this one based upon reviews, I liked the zipper close instead of the drawstring and that it had base padding. Also it was in the price range we were willing to spend on this. We received the product quickly (but I mean Prime is speady) and I put it with stuff I was "collecting to pack" on the dining table. We were about a week away from our trip. The night before we left we tried it out to make sure we knew how it worked and weren't trying to do it at the airport. We loaded in our Chico KeyFit 30 carrier and base attached, zipped it up and lifted it up to put on my husbands back to adjust the straps and the plastic piece that holds the strap to the bag snapped. (This is why I didn't give it 5 stars) I was really disappointed, we hadn't even used it and it broke. It was 9:30pm the night before we were leaving so I couldn't go buy another one. I quickly thought of a metal carabiner clip and it worked like a charm. We took an extra one with us just in case for the other side (we never needed it). It was then I remembered I had received emails, two asking about the product, did I like it etc. I replied with what I wrote above with a picture I took of the snapped piece. The owner quickly replied (I was amazed for the time), apologized and offered a full refund. I was really taken back by the customer service. We actually really liked the bag a lot. My husband said he wish the should pads were a tad sturdier, but did have decent padding. While we had a mishap, I would recommend the product and would buy it again.Ps- Not having a bright color isn't that big of a deal... I mean what other ridiculously large and awkward size bag do you think is yours coming down the baggage line? It's easy to spot trust me!

I already own a car seat travel bag from another brand, but I needed a second one for an additional seat that I have. I decided to give this Evelyn and Delilah Travel Bag a try, and I'm so glad that I did!The bag is made up of this super strong nylon material. A lot of bags have a similar material, but this particular bag is by far the most durable one that I've personally come across. If you tried to play tug of war with this thing, it would most likely stay in tact. The handling of luggage by airports and train stations is not always kind, and car seats can be expensive. It's best to have something that's going to stand a fair chance.The bag is incredibly large! I tried it with both the Chicco Cortina Infant Seat and a Chicco NextFit Convertible Car Seat, both of them fit with ease (not at the same time, of course) and there was still room to spare. I also like that this bag has a sturdy zipper that keeps it closed. I actually prefer this option over a drawstring. It provides a little added peace of mind. It also comes in a nifty zippered carrying case with the same nylon material. This great for when you need to stow it away in a tight space. There's also a handle for easy carrying and my absolute favorite part (next to the bag's durability) is the backpack style shoulder straps. There are two straps, so you can hang it over one or both shoulders if need be. The straps are even padded for added comfort.There is a logo on the bag and carrying case that also mentions that's it's a car seat travel bag. The one that I received had an error on it and said "stroller" instead of "car seat." The company added an apology message in the product's packaging, along with a 25% off discount code for my next purchase. This wasn't a huge deal for me, but if you're particular about that sort of thing, I would contact the seller before ordering to make sure you receive one with the correct logo/label.Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with this car seat travel bag! It's very roomy, durable, and includes little extras to help make traveling with kids easier. When not using it for traveling, it also makes a great protective cover for storing older/extra car seats. Although I received a complimentary product to evaluate, all views and opinions here are unbiased and purely those of my own.

I'm currently pregnant with our first child. We purchased the pumpkin seat to use for the first year or so, and also have purchased the next size up {convertible} seat. The box for the large convertible seat wouldn't fit in my car, so we took it out of the box at the store. This is fine because I don't need the box, but I was concerned about the seat getting dusty in storage for the next year or so. This bag is the perfect solution! The convertible seat is pretty large so I wasn't sure it would fit in this bag, but it fits perfectly! The bag has a heavy duty zipper and handles to carry it on both sides. There was a note with the package that it was accidentally labeled as a stroller carrier, but it is obviously a car seat carrier.
