No complaints. Expensive. But will I have to buy again? Who knows? For now I am satisfied.

Aangeschaft voor aansluiting tussen tv en da converter... REDEN AANKOOP: beter geluid en slechte stekkers vorige kabel ( lieten los, vanwege slechte passing). Direkt na plaatsing dik tevreden... de stekkers passen perfect en blijven goed zitten. Geluid is prima, gedetailleerd en muzikaal. Vooral bij films en muziekprogrammas hoor je het verschil. Ook nog even getest op cd loopwerk... zeer goed...De kabel heeft verder mooie stekkers en is vrij soepel.

I added a Hi-Fi streamer, a WiiM mini to my Hi-Fi over a year ago now. I subscribe to Amazon music unlimited and have been enjoying the lossless sound quality, music choice and convenience. After a few months I added a DAC, a S.M.S.L Sanskrit 10th MKⅢ. The only digital output option from the WiiM mini is Toslink optical. I initially used a 3m Thor branded cable (made by Philex) which I had owned for years. The DAC significantly improved the sound I was getting from the WiiM mini (I was using the WiiM mini's line level originally). I had read that better digital interconnects can improve sound quality, I was not convinced about this, but I thought it was worth experimenting. I looked around for HiFi grade Toslink cables. QED, Audioquest and Chord all had options at under £60. I would get a cable no longer than I needed, 1.5 meter being about right. I eventually chose the QED Performance Graphite cable as the reviews were good and the build quality was praised. I can confirm that the build quality is good and the connectors engage positively in the sockets on the streamer and the DAC. The cable claims a high level of light transmission and low jitter, and in my case, half the length of my original cable (which has got to help). I noticed straight away that sound quality was notably improved. The sound was cleaner and clearer, vocal benefited significantly, instruments were better separated. Overall the sound was improved much more than I would have expected. I was sceptical but not any more.
