Danival - Organic Brown Rice Miso - 200g

Look carefully at the pictures and you will see a part of the label were it says "Unpasteurised" and that's why I ordered it.I started using it, it's OK, not as nice as Clearspring or Hikari Miso, then I looked at the label more closely and it says "Pasteurised".This is mis-advertised.Just to make it clear, the jar I received clearly states this is pasteurized - heat treated to kill bacteria.The whole point of eating fermented foods is to get the benefit of the good bacteria, it's dead when it's pasteurised.I will not purchase this again.

I actually didn’t know you could get Miso from France, so I thought I’d give it a try!I just made myself a soup with hot water, I thought it was delicious! Really impressed - will definitely buy again.

The miso paste was tasty and worked really well in recipes but it is probably not the cheapest way to buy this ingredient but it is convenient.
